Absolutely awful experience here today. As someone who works with oysters and appreciates their beauty, I will never return. Only 1/4 of the oyster menu available and the member of staff couldn't be bothered to muster the energy to explain where the remaining where from.
Watching this staff member butcher opening oysters was toe curling. Opening from the far side and shattering pieces of shell into the flesh. When asked if he could complete the shuk by loosening from the shell (basic etiquette) he threw an oyster knife down for me to do it myself.
Asked for some simple mignonette or tabasco I was greeted with a face like if killed his first born.
The customer service was non existent. No greeting. Waiting 5 minutes for the wait staff and bar tender to stop having a private conversation before any sort of acknowledgement.
I would avoid at all costs. As an oyster bar that clearly has no love for oysters or those buying them....

I have pictures of my food from here to prove I...

Best oysters the day we went were the "Utha Beach" (should have been Utah Beach) and they were fabulous. A bit pricey but generally acceptable for the trendy area of the restaurant in Bilbao. Would recommend if you are looking for your oyster fix. Conviently there is another location closer to the arena if you...
