This place is phenomenal. If staying in Bilbao. This will be the place to try. They accept both card and cash, including Amex. The staff was amazing they gave great recommendations and if your not just looking for tapas the dinner selection is top notch. For my first visit it was around 11pm when I arrived and was able to try there delicious Sangria. I would highly recommend it. Next was there selection of Iberico and Serrano meats. Finished with some croquettes and I was great. Second time and final I got to try their full dinner selection. This included there recommendations of Scallops, rib eye and there cheesecake. All were delicious and I would say go for the scallops as the flavor was perfect.

I was surprised how bad an experience we had. The restaurant has really nice recommendations on google but the service was soo bad. We came in and asked for a table and they didn’t took much of a notice of us. After finally getting showed to a place, first where we could wait then to a table, we waited long for someone to take our order. When we had to pay, we waited 30 minutes for the bill even though we had asked for it three times. Not once did they come and asked how the food was. The food was ok. We got a hake which was good, but the side dishes didn’t fit the meal. We also got a steak which were ordered to be cooked medium, however it came out entirely rare. We asked for it to be cooked a little more, but when it came back it looked like they had only cooked it on one side, because one side was well done and the other still rare. They didn’t come to check if it was alright (again) and when we told them about the problem, they just suggested to cook the raw side more (but that would just have made the steak well done throughout). Unfortunately the restaurant also gets pretty noisy which makes if difficult to have a conversation. All in all a disappointing experience

First it’s easily noticed the quality of food went down quite obviously. 2 years ago when I lived nearby Bilbao, this was my frequent place. Almeja en salsa verde portion decreased 1/4 but price went up..The famous callo bizkaina was so bland and there were black hair(callo not cleaned well) everywhere in the plate :( What was more disappointing was the service (which was superb before). The (head ? She looks bossy)waitress showed us long face all the time despite us being very polite, and we were told that we have to leave in a hour after we just ordered. ☹️ Honestly I brought my parents back to País Vasco and tried to show them my past favorite places, but definitely this restaurant embarrassed me and I don’t think I would come back. Sad!

Definitely likes the place and will come back again! We were there just for a glass of wine and will come back to the dinner too. The waiters were really nice and cute to us. We don’t speak that well Spanish, but we’re great to found someone who will understand our order and talk to us. One of the waiters was really cute and made us smile. Thank you for that. The offer of wines is amazing, the place is cute and cozy. For my friend and me we made a tradition to go our every weekend for a glass of wine to a new place, but this one is gonna be one of our favourite!🤍

Highly recommended. Staff is friendly and will advise you about menu choices, when asked for and not asked for. I was impressed by the service of staff. Food is quite good, however some dishes were a bit overdone in terms of seasoning. Still, I found it better than all other restaurants I’ve tried in Bilbao and the rest of Northern Spain. During the afternoon (between 3 and 8 pm) the kitchen is not opened, but some menu items are still available, like salads (but also other items). Don’t miss this restaurant when in Bilbao.

We had dinner at the restaurant and the service was excellent. Nice environment. Big portions and fresh food stuff. Grilled gambas for starter were the highlight of the evening - delicious! I ordered fish of the day as main and it was white tuna belly filet with tomato sauce. A lot of tuna, 4 fillets! But no garnish or anything so it became a bit boring. For dessert I ordered Orange sorbet and got a glass of orange juice, not sure if it’s how you do it in Spain but it was a bit unexpected.
