Por la tarde bien, por la mañana, un truño. Hace una semana fui a merendar por la tarde y me atendieron muy bien. La chica joven que estaba de camarera muy simpática e implicada cuando pregunté por alérgenos en los pasteles (se defendió como pudo la pobre, no tienen carta de alérgenos de los pasteles). Pero bueno, todo correcto.

La sorpresa ha sido cuando esta mañana hemos ido a desayunar. Nos ha atendido una señora que ya de entrada; un poco desagradable. Nos ha preguntado que dónde íbamos a sentarnos y en principio le dijimos que terraza. Poco después, le dijimos que mejor dentro. La mujer se ha puesto a la defensiva diciendo que nos llevaba las cosas fuera y que no nos cobraría servicio de terraza, ¡como si le debiéramos la vida! y después de haberle dicho que al final nos quedaríamos dentro porque fuera hacía más frío.

El trato; malo. No solo con nosotros, que ya con el tono y la cara larga de la señora, se crea un ambiente de incomodidad, sino que también con el camarero y el de cocinas. Pide las comandas al cocinero con una mala educación increíble y manda al camarero como si le estuviera regañando. Desagradable que un cliente tenga que escuchar comentarios con ese tono entre compañeros de trabajo. Crispa el ambiente e incomoda.

¿Lo que hemos pedido? Bueno... He pedido una infusión y me han cobrado 1,30 por una bolsa de manzanilla de supermercado, no sé... La ración de churros con una cantidad ingente de azúcar, (sin preguntar previamente si querías o no azúcar en ellos), que personalmente, considero que es un detalle que estaría bien preguntar y no asumir cómo se quiere comer los santos churros una persona. Quiero elegir lo que como, gracias. El chocolate, bueno. 4,90 euros chocolate con churros, no está mal por el sitio.

El local bonito, agradable y con música tranquilita. ¿El servicio de esta mañana? se ha cargado el ambiente. Pongo dos estrellas por la chica joven y el señor que estaba en la barra que me atendieron la otra...

I visited this place on Sunday for breakfast. I ordered churros con chocolate. The girl waiting there was rude. She brought me my order and threw the bill on the table along the food and the bill wasn't even mine. I ordered for 1 and in the bill they charged for 2. The churros were served on the bed of sugar.

I had lost interest because of the rude and unpleasant behavior of the waitress. I have had better experience and better churros in other cities of the country.

The lady at the bar was nice and attended me well. But by the time I was already disappointed. Not at all visiting this place again nor I recommend to any...

This is one of the classics of Burgos' bars, and in one I have been going all my life. It's true that it can be quite expensive with some products, and most of the time is overwhelming being there due to the huge amount of people. Nevertheless, I strongly recommend to try one of their highlights, the Churros with Chocolate. They prepare them very good, and that's the reason why sometime it's impossible to enter there, specially in winter. But if you have the chance, take it! The smoothies, frappes and shake also...
