I love this small but charming tapas bar in the centre of Burgos. Very simple tapas, yet very high quality product and very well executed. Some original combinations like pouring the “escabeche” liquid from a tin of mussels onto the potato crisps. Draft beer, wine and vermouth are popular drink options. Friendly service. All the “conservas” are excellent and so was the cecina. Good value for money.

Sitio original donde los haya, es una mezcla tasta pero con gusto, te ponen con la consumición unas rodajas de embutido que está muy rico, con unos picos de pan, tienes para picar latillas y embutido y parece que hacen vermut habrá que volver para probarlo

To be honest, a little bit below my expectations. I mean, I have been to several better places in town. But I do love their chorizo(I bought a little extra to take away) and free chorizo&snack comes with drinks are great. Anchovies for me is a NO. Price is pretty good, and the owner is friendly.

Estamos malacostumbrados a que en este local nos pongan algo de picar con la bebida, se agradece y es uno de los motivos para ir.

Cuando vas y no te lo ponen duele, pero que vaya alguien después, veas que les ponen pincho, preguntes si ha cambiado la mecánica y te digan que "es que se ha acabado" cuando tienen cincuenta chorizos y salchichones, y banderillas a parte encima de la barra, pues ya parece recochineo.

Cierto es que al rato de quejarnos, después de la segunda ronda, nos han echado unas rodajas de chorizo. Se agradece, pero si es para cumplir ya se agradece menos.

RESPUESTA AL PROPIETARIO: Sé que la presentación de vuestra tapa suele ser exquisita, en su paquetito de papel de estraza, y como digo, se agradece. La camarera, vista nuestra queja, se molestó en cortar un poco de chorizo y echarlo en un plato a la vista de nuestra incomodidad. Por eso digo "nos han echado unas rodajas de chorizo".
