The bar has been recently renovated under new management and open for a few weeks having being closed for quite a while, it had been a bar in Cadiz for many years. The new decor is lovely and it still looks and feels like a traditional bar. Tables outside and space to sit and stand at the bar inside. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Specialises in seafood. We were given a small (free) plate of very nice fresh shrimp while we looked at the menu. We tried the patatas aliñadas (cold potato salad traditional in Cadiz, potatoes are marinated with oil and vinegar, and some, like these, have ‘melva’ added - a bit like tuna) great texture and flavoursome but not as strongly marinated as others are, this will depend on your taste. Also cooked prawns which were very tasty, the stew of the day (‘guiso del día’ which was chickpeas and cuttlefish, delicious) and the clams in fino sauce, very good.
