Pensión España — Hotel in Cádiz

This place is in a great spot, handy for the city center. The place is charming and spotless. Beds are great and so comfortable. My dislikes were that the bathroom in the room was so small and it was claustrophobic. However the shower worked well and for one night it was fine. The only window the room overlooked an inner terrace and and where people walked past so the curtain had to be closed for privacy. The window had to be open for air as there is no air con and it felt strange to have people walking past and it was a little uncomfortable, I kept checking that the curtain was not blowing in with the air as it leaves you very exposed to others. Not ideal if you are changing or just wanting quiet time. All in all I found it good for one night but I would want something else for longer stays and I am not sure that I would go back for the...

We stayed recently for 5 nights, in room 5 which had a private bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay, staff were very friendly and helping me to practice my Spanish too. The Pension has so much charm, beautiful tiles, plants everywhere and old posters from Shipping Lines etc. It's just a really charming place to stay, location is excellent and only a short 5 minute walk from the train station. We already recommended to friends of ours living in Sevilla for when they are taking weekend breaks. If you are a light sleeper as I am, then would recommend taking ear plugs, can be a little noise in the morning as people move around. It's a wonderful place...

We stayed here two nights. The reception team were excellent to deal with. They were friendly, welcoming and so helpful. The first room we stayed in had a high ceiling and was sooo charming. There was a kettle and some|Herbal teas to enjoy which was a lovey touch. The beds were sooooo comfy, rooms and hotel were very clean. The roof top area was certainly a great place to maybe sit and have breakfast but we didn’t get to use it because of our short stay.
