A Unique and Delightful Stay at OLOM!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Olom, a boutique/concept hotel curated by an exceptional team. From the moment we stepped foot into this charming establishment, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality.
The service provided by the staff at Olom was impeccable. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was nothing short of perfection. Whether it was offering personalized recommendations for local attractions or attending to our needs with a smile, their attentiveness made us feel like cherished guests.
One of the most impressive aspects of Olom is their commitment to supporting the local community in Cadiz and surrounding areas.Every detail, from the thoughtfully designed decor to the exquisite silverware and art, is crafted by local suppliers and artist. It’s heartwarming to witness a hotel that actively contributes to the growth of the local economy and fosters a sense of community.
Now, let’s talk about the food at their Restaurant Ettu😋 The culinary experience at Ettu was an absolute delight! We savored dishes prepared with locally-sourced ingredients, bursting with flavor and creativity (the beef tartar is a must). Each meal was a testament to the dedication and passion of the talented chefs in their kitchen.
It’s the little things that set Olom apart. The attention to detail in every corner of the hotel speaks volumes about the love and care put into curating this space. The cozy and inviting ambiance added to the overall charm, making us feel right at home.
Overall, our stay at Olom was nothing short of exceptional. I highly recommend Olom to anyone seeking a unique and unforgettable stay with a touch of heart and soul.
FYI! The terrace Aleph has amazing cocktails and the best view of all of cadiz!
Thank you, Olom and staff for making our weekend a cherished memory. We’ll definitely be...
Read moreI will tell about my experience of staying in the hotel, I will specify that this is my personal view as a person engaged in sports, it may differ from the usual.
On the pluses: Beautiful hotel, really like the design, beautiful dishes and bathrooms. The pool is also yes. Love the coffee here, really do it well. The staff is friendly and loves animals. It's important.
Cons: There are unfortunately more of them..you can see the staff don't fully understand how best things can be organized. At check-in there is no precise and detailed instruction how everything works, how breakfast, passwords from the Internet, cleaning. To everything you have to guess on your own There is no ruffle at the toilet, it's funny. There is a faucet, which as I understand it is necessary to use (the idea was probably in the cleanliness, because so much more sterile), but the faucet has such a small pressure, that the use of it 0 The hotel says that there is a gym. It is difficult to call it a gym, it is better to remove this sign, and if you want a star, make the hall full-fledged. As an athlete, this is very important to me, and I need to know in advance whether there will be full-fledged fitness equipment, or just a mat and a pair of dumbbells. The staff does not speak English, it is generally very sad. Three days in a row we try to explain that the food should be cooked without oil. We just do not understand, bring eggs just with a liter of oil, I do not even understand why in principle to add so much and spoil the dishes? Portions are small unfortunately, little protein and a lot of oil:) it would be better to do the opposite, it would be more useful. The waiters try to understand us, but the kitchen is given it with difficulty
In general minuses unfortunately prevail...but the view is really beautiful,...
Read moreVery very hard to find a better hotel in Europe. This is going to be one of my first five star reviews, out of hundreds. Definitley aided by the restaurant Ettu. Not sure if its technically part of the hotel, but Michelin star worthy none the less. Staff are incredibly attentive, think the Mandarin Oriental in Mayfair, London. If you have ever been, but quinter, more personal about 1/10th the price. No other hotel in Cádiz could have a better view than room 101. It looks out directly onto the cathedral plaza and the main cathedral front itself. The interior is exquisitely styled. The rooms are fully automated from automatic curtains, touch sensitive mood lighting panels. A massive bathtub made of stone, at least in the 101. Head to lush before heading to the hotel for sure. On arrival I requested some excersise equipment and by 7am the next morning I had a fully functional gym set up on the terrace by the infinity pool overlooking the cathedral. Decent bench. Some cardio and yoga equipment and multi select dumbells. Again, hard to explain the feeling of waking up to the cathedral bells tolling whilst getting in a morning workout poolside. Lastly the restaurant, first time I have ever been served a wine pairing from an electronic somellier, better pairing impossible. Amazing food. Even more amazing service. The wait staff are absolute experts. Manuel is awesome, we coincided with the first day of work Aitana, one of their new waitresses, did an absolutely awesome job. Curious fact. In the restaurant all the utensils. Plates, old style spanish cermaic water pitchers. Are all made by small artisanal workers from Cádiz. My favoirute part... the old timey record player in the room with a selection of hundreds of vinyls from a vinyl library upstairs, what a touch. Get a loyalty...
