Foster's Hollywood — Restaurant in Cádiz

What can I say about this establishment, I have been there twice. The first night we were served by a guy, I don't know his name, what can I say about him, he doesn't know that his place where he works has sangria. There is chicken on the menu, but for some reason it is out of stock. Therefore, I chose pork, which for me was tough and not tasty. The next time we came, I decided to order the chicken, guacamole and pepper sandwich, and I really regretted it because the photo on the menu and what I got were completely different, because I got a regular bun instead of what was written in the menu. My sandwich had wooden dry and not tasty chicken, mayo and pepper. I don't know where my guacamole was, it's probably on vacation in Mexico City. By the way, I advise you to check the bill, because the waiter, who does not know that the restaurant has sangria, gave us a check for another table. There is a lot to work on in...

We had been staying in the hotel behind/on top (Cadiz Bahia) and so had been making use of the various bars and restaurants below, spending all week avoiding this place as it is usually empty! Or hardly any customers at least. Which normally tells a story to avoid!

However on our last night we decided to give it a go. And guess what? It’s actually very good!!!

We began with chicken tenders and the cheese sticks (can’t remember their names) - these were delicious with the sauces 👌🏼 My wife had chicken enchiladas which is normally a favourite of her’s therefore getting the thumbs up is a big deal from her! Very tasty she said, just needed some rice with it ideally. I had the Iberian burger which got better the more I ate if it! I had it cooked “medium” which was perfect 👌🏼 Our server was a nice guy. There is parking directly out the front with level access for wheelchair users...

The restaurant was kept nice and clean as well as being very well presented. The menu options were amazing and the service was outstanding.

We didn’t even need to ask for drink refills, they were topped up automatically when they needed to be by our waiting staff.

The food was so lovely, fresh and tasty.

We would like to give a special shout out to Jesus. Very attentive, friendly and considering our Spanish was terrible which we were embarrassed of, Jesus understood everything we asked for. We couldn’t fault this restaurant and will definitely visit again when we come back to Cadiz.
