Bar El Comendaó is a delightful restaurant with a lot to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and it's no wonder it's a popular spot with the locals. The highlight of our experience was the incredibly affordable tapas and rations of traditional Spanish cuisine. The dishes were not only delicious but also served in generous quantities, providing excellent value for the price. The restaurant's charm is undeniable, with its quaint setting and a lovely balcony that provides breathtaking views of the village. The service was impressive, as our orders were promptly taken and delivered without any delays. The food itself tasted great, with the flavors of traditional Spanish dishes coming through. However, we must admit that the Patatas Bravas could have been improved. While tasty, the use of mayonnaise and ketchup instead of the traditional sauce left us wanting for the authentic experience. Despite this minor setback, our overall experience at Bar El Comendaó was fantastic. It's a hidden gem that offers delicious food at a reasonable price, along with a picturesque ambiance. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to indulge in traditional Spanish delights while enjoying the stunning village views from their balcony.

If you’re looking for the absolute worst dining experience in Spain, look no further than Restaurante El Comendaó. This place has truly mastered the art of disappointment. I honestly have to give them credit for it because it’s not easy to make food this bad. Let’s start with the temperature. I assume they have a revolutionary new cooking technique where food is prepared hours in advance and then lovingly ignored until it reaches the perfect level of fridge-cold mediocrity. My dish was so cold I had to check if they accidentally served me yesterday’s leftovers straight from the freezer. Now, the taste. Or should I say, the absence of taste? Because wow, what a bold choice to completely omit flavor from every dish. I never knew food could be this bland yet somehow still be offensively bad. It’s like they seasoned everything with a combination of dust and regret. Every bite felt like a personal attack on my taste buds. If flavor had a funeral, it was definitely held in this restaurant’s kitchen.

Yesterday I went with my mum to have tapas. The staff were rude and they gave me OUT OF DATE frozen shrimp and I’m Now suffering with the worst food poisoning!!!!! I am so ill. DO NOT eat from here!!! I said to the waiter about the shrimp, no one apologised they just gave us back the bill with that shrimp tapas taken off of it. They still expected us to pay the bill. No apology or anything!!!! I am on holiday and now on my last day I am suffering from food poisoning and possibly won’t be able to fly back home tomorrow. Do not come here!!!! The pineapple was also off but they don’t seem to care what they serve you.
