Bubba Bar — Restaurant in Fuengirola

Went today very nice waiter, place was very clean, got menus and saw they have got a very varied selection. Ordered 4 different dishes and when they arrived given the prices they were charging not impressed. Chicken skewers not cooked properly, chorizo in bread not on skewers, gambas with pasta ok and croquettes ok. Told the waiter and he apologised for the pink chicken. We all agreed that the tapas that Lizaran were serving next door looked nicer and better value, but the service was good but no discount for the pink chicken....

Right in the Chinorro Plaza where there are many restaurants with sidewalk dining, this quaint little place was one of them, more on the terrace than inside Very nice decor. The menu is quite large so it was hard to choose. The oxtail was good but a bit stringy. The Russian salad (ensaladilla rusa) was good. The artichokes with ham (alcachofas) pieces was also good. The service was excellent, attentive and professional. Pro tip: order media ración, half a plate as it's fairly large so you can order a few different...

The menu was interesting, a nice change from the "standard tapas". Everything tasted great, but service was really slow. Both waiters kept going right past us when we tried to order our food. We ordered 1 tapa and 2 small portions to share, but they all came out separately with about 30 minutes between courses, and only one plate. How could you call that tapas?!?

Shame about the service, because the food was really good. Not sure about the music in the bathroom though: the violin version of La Bamba, with a...
