Taberna La Gaonera — Restaurant in Fuengirola

Having been enchanted by this fabulous restaurant earlier in the year, we returned earlier this week. The outstanding service and quality have been maintained. Oysters and beautifully cooked steak were my choices. The staff are excellent and are thoroughly recommended. One year on and the menu has shrunk incredibly. No filet steak no pan fried pork etc. However the website does not reflect these serious changes. I have contacted the proprietor directly to ask him to update ...

We have been coming here for 8 years and our recent visit was as good as it used to be, if not better. The food was just as amazing as before and the service and feel is even more polished. The menu has somewhat gone smaller, but there is a larger selection from the specials. If you are in Fuengirola and want somewhere nice yet relaxed for a meal, I highly recommend...

Empezare comentando lo malo , que por el simple echo de sentarte te cobren 1,5 E por persona, es una autentica estafa, lo llaman servicio,, y me digo servicio de que, cuando el servicio es muy normalito, por no decir malo, si estuviéramos hablado de un buen restaurante, a lo mejor y digo a lo mejor lo podría entender, pero no es el caso, suelo ir de vez en cuándo a comer a muy buenos restaurantes y nunca,, repito nunca nos han cobrado, eso llamado servicio, y en este caso , estamos hablando de una tasca normalita. .pedimos una clara para beber, todo el mundo sabe lo que es una clara, caña de cerveza con gaseosa, ,pues mira tu los muy chorizos nos cobran por la cerveza 3E. bueno podríamos decir precio normal,,, y por la gaseosa que nos pusieron con la cerveza 2,5E. ,, 400 del antiguas pesetas, menudo choriceo que tiene montado en esta tasca,, que precio puede tener la gaseosa que te ponen con la clara???? seguramente un par de céntimos de E...... Para comer pedimos croquetas, un pelín caras pero buenas y arroz negro buena cantidad y bueno....no VOVERE;,,...
