Don't let the lack of bustle fool you. We went for "early" dinner (7:30pm) and were greeted and seated immediately. The menu is not as extensive as the ones posted in some older reviews but had a good variety of meat, fish, and veg. It's in a central location but maintains local vibes and the staff continued speaking to us in Spanish even with my amused/half confused look. This was one of the most hospitable restaurants I've been to in Spain. We ordered fried dog fish (not often found on other menus), oxtail stew, and sauteed veggies. We spent €25/person but could have gotten away with ordering less as the portions were hefty (including the free tapas). The venue is hard to miss as it's tucked away, so a little remodeling and a few tables outside would do...

Me gusta la comída regionales y authentico la camarera muy generoso. An experience more than a meal, our waitress complemented the food, some of the best we’ve had in Spain. Menú del día was an amazing guiso, patatas bravas hand cut, wine selection limited but recommendations on point. The best thing was absolutely no tourists and wonderful service. Left with plenty of leftovers. Only regret is leaving Granada and not being able to return (but almost worth booking a return flight from Australia for just for the food).Highly recommend for anyone looking for an affordable authentic meal in a family run...

Boabdil Restaurante was an absolute gem! The atmosphere was cozy, giving a wonderfully authentic local vibe that made the experience memorable. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added to the charm.

I enjoyed some tapas with a refreshing beer and sangria, both of which were fantastic. The highlight was definitely the seafood paella – it was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.
