Just overall not a good experience. Absolutely terrible service. It took 30 minutes for a waiter to bring us menus and ask for our drink order. First off, the tapa was one raw bean pod (that’s right, one haba bean pod) per person and a quarter of an old, dry slice of bread. It was awful. Then we were told they only do “one free tapa” even though we ordered several rounds of drinks, but they’re still charging you drink prices as if it comes with a tapa. Lame. And out of the three dishes we ordered, only the bravas were good. The croquetas were very liquidy on the inside and the “Mexican nachos” were pathetic and had BAKED BEANS on them instead of the typical black beans or pinto beans. We won’t return. Response to below comment: I have lived in Granada for 5 years, so I know the local customs and I know when a restaurant has decent service and good food. Your place isn’t it. Notice how you didn’t not defend the terrible service nor the sad excuse for Mexican food. Take care.

I tried the “God Save the Queen” breakfast, clearly designed with British travelers in mind. It includes one egg, three sausages, three pieces of a baguette, a small bowl of beans, plus coffee or tea and orange juice. While the concept is appreciated, the execution didn’t quite hit the mark. The bacon, unfortunately, consisted of nearly all fat, and was undercooked—not the crisp style I’d expected. The sausages were okay, but nothing to write home about. For the price, I was hoping for something a bit more satisfying. There are other nearby spots that offer a better breakfast experience overall, but this place might still appeal to those looking for something familiar with a Spanish twist.

Sadly, this was not the best experience I’ve had in a restaurant, to say the least. It was probably the slowest and least attentive service I’ve experienced in Spain. Took us 35 minutes to get a sandwich and a bocadillo at lunch time with three other tables taken. The poached egg wasn’t finished and the salmon was any regular store brand. The bocadillo was alright, but can’t make up for the rest of the service.

One word: disappointment. It started off badly. The waitress insisted that I couldn’t sit at one of the small outdoor tables for two because it was reserved. Yes, the one next to it too. And you know what? I was sitting inside with a clear view of both tables, and no one occupied them the entire time I was there. I’ve encountered this practice before in Florence — where singles are refused seating in visible spots, or even refused altogether. No, it’s not a nice experience.

I ordered the tuna. It was a bit dry, and the salsa de enelde definitely wasn’t made with fresh dill. When I couldn’t get anyone to bring the bill, I paid at the bar and was quite...
