Bar Macondo Granada — Restaurant in Granada

I left this place thinking this is why I went to Spain.

Perhaps the best food/drink experience I had in Spain with my wife. She had a wine and I had a vermouth.

We had a burger, salmon toast, and pork toast. I wish I knew what exactly the free tapas were but it was delicious as well. Cheesecake…I thought I knew what good cheesecake was until I had one here. I’ve never had a Basque cheesecake up north but I expect it was Basque.

Paul the host and bartender was incredibly friendly. He was very efficient. Ambiance with low level music was great.

I’ve been here for breakfast and love it. Ths morning tostada is delicious, the coffee us good, the service friendly and efficient and as a big music fan, the music is wonderful. Today it’s been Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding and Nina Simone so far. Last time it was Elvis and Johnny Cash,m. Such a refreshing change from random reggaeton radio.
