We had been recommended the place by a friend, and so we went. It was open, but there was no waiting staff and empty tables; so after some time, we sat at a table that was clean and Set up for two people. A waiter (unfortunately I don’t have his name, but he was tall, with short dark hair and neck tattoos) told us rudely - to move to a table which was dirty and not set up. He pointed at it as he started changing it while we stood. He instructed us to sit down by pointing at it, and walked off to serve other people. After some time of sitting waiting - still without a menu, I asked him if we could have a menu. He rudely with hand gestures also, told us to wait a minute, and continued doing other stuff at the plate and cutlery satiation. We waited another five minutes, before we just got up and left to go somewhere else. The atmosphere was this - it wasn’t busy but we were made to feel unwelcome through the facial expressions and body language of the waiter. We were treated as an inconvenience to this waiter and the restaurant. Don’t bother - regardless of the food, which I can’t even comment on the since we didn’t even get a menu to make an order. Quite frankly, I’ve never experienced service like it - and not...

You might be deceived when you first walk up because there's a very busy bar with lots of hubbub people chatting and meeting in the front. But in the back there's a lovely quiet dining room with white tablecloths. A calm environment. When we first came there was music going on, but they soon turned that off to establish the quiet atmosphere. Camilla was our waitress. She was very knowledgeable about the dishes and the wine. She guided us to the requested veggie forward appetizers of local tomato salad and roasted vegetables. Both were excellent. Especially the tomatoes. They have a lovely sweet flavor and had a little bit of olive oil on them. Just yummy. We ordered the fish soup which is also very well done and a very light broth. And for the entree we shared the sea bass or dorada. It was skillfully prepared with a very light dressing over it. Side of Skillet cooked eggplant. With Camilla's guidance, we had pretty close to what we consider the perfect meal, because it had plenty of veggies, and a very light entree. She also recommended an excellent local white wine which we found to be light, refreshing, and tasty. An excellent...

To be honest, I was nervous at first that it would be overhyped. But it wasn’t. We ordered the ox tail, pork loin, grilled sea bream, tomato salad, salmorejo, and grilled veg. The grilled veg was underdone. I loved the salmorejo here. The pork was amazing and was a surprise favorite. Everything else was delicious. They can be a bit heavy handed with the finishing salt, but this was a common thing for my taste in Spain, though a little more so here. We asked if they had hot sauce and they gave us 3 to try… the Gallo piri piri sauce was great! I wish there was more indoor dining bc the smoke outside really bothers me (they didn’t have the back dining room open when we were there and my older parents are more comfortable in regular chairs then bar...

If you're in the Cathedral area of Granada, this is a REALLY nice spot to eat. I came at an odd time but was instantly greeted by the hostess, who ushered me to sit outdoors in a covered area. She spoke English and helped me select thr final entree. I took Monkfish, which is very popular in Southern Spain (called Rape'). It was a bit bland for my taste and needed some spice or sauce. The fish, however, super fresh and juicy grilled to perfection, served in a bed of dry ratatouille. I had a bottle of soda in my hand that I was carrying back to the hotel. The hostess asked me if she would give me a glass with ice. She said soda will help cut the fat from the fish. Even though they don't allow outside drinks, I was touched by the gesture.

It’s overrated and overpriced. We ordered two dishes for lunch and we had a unimpressed experience for both tastes and services. First of all, we literally point to the dishes for ordering since it might be language barrier. Turns out they gave us the dishes we were not expecting which the taste was not good(the octopus). Btw, the paella with pork is also tasted “mid”. Secondly, the bread and olives were served by the waiter without mentioning the cost. They were included in the bill. We would recommend people do not try out the dishes we ordered. Also double check with the waiter about the food you ordered and be aware of extra cost(bread and olives).
