What a little gem! We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. Very tasty food, friendly atmosphere, good prices, nice atmosphere.

We started with a little pastry with paté that was on the house, and some white wine. For mains, we had the following: The patatas: crispy but also very tender, served with a light paprika spiced mousse The croquetas: apparently they had white chocolate in them (lol) but they were not a dessert. They were served with a baked apples sauce. Unfortunately not in my pictures because we ate them immediately, that's how good they were The piece of resistance was a Sirloin that was actually not on the menu, but one of the chefs recommended it to us. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned, incredibly tender and savoury. It was served on a bed of potatoes in a red wine/vinegar sauce, and on top of it there was some veal/beef (I forgot!) liver, so light and soft that it immediately melted in my mouth. It came with some fries and padron peppers on the side For dessert, we had the lemon mousse (espuma de limon). So good and balanced!

The service was also good. I appreciated our waiter that did not switch to English and spoke to us in slower Spanish and explained different things on the menu when we told him that we are learning the language.

RUINED 60TH, APOLOGY & PROMISE OF A FREE MEAL (SEE JANUARY REVIEW!!), FAILED TO DELIVER!!!. THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING A SPECIAL EVENT HERE!!!

Please don't make a promise to customers you can't keep just to make yourself look good on reviews!!! You had plenty of time to respond to mine & my husband Paul's messages to you (which were read soon after) to take up your kind offer of a complimentary meal having previously ruined his 60th birthday plans in January (see January review). Despite you letting us down in January, we were still kind enough to say how lovely the food was within that review and put lovely photos on ftom our previous visit in December (think you'll find most customers wouldn't have bothered all things considered!!). Luckily the amazing restaurant that saved his birthday in January was available when you failed to respond!, this is where we enjoyed our wedding anniversary last weekend & the place where we will always go to now thanks to you because this is where we found purely by chance that wet, cold, windy Januaty night when you let...

Saremo sfortunati ma per me è stata la peggior esperienza mai avuta in tanti anni di pranzi e cene in vari ristoranti.

Mentre eravamo in auto, un amico che era con me ha telefonato (parlando in inglese) per prenotare per otto persone. Dal ristorante, però, rispondevano (sempre in inglese) che c'era posto solo all'esterno. Il mio amico ha comunicato che avrebbe sentito gli altri, visto che faceva freddo (abbiamo beccato probabilmente la settimana più fredda del periodo), e che avrebbe richiamato entro cinque minuti. Dal ristorante, però, anziché chiudere, proponevano orari diversi (un po' prima o un po' dopo) per poi confermare, dando l'impressione che avessero trovato una soluzione per l'interno.

Al nostro arrivo siamo stati fatti accomodare sotto un gazebo parzialmente chiuso sui lati, proprio a fianco della porta, dove c'erano strisce mobili di gomma ma dalla quale in basso entrava uno spiffero molto freddo.

Quando il mio amico ha fatto notare che non avevamo accettato il posto esterno, il ristoratore ha risposto, in modo a mio avviso sgarbato e prepotente, che gli aveva detto che il posto era all'esterno e che, quindi, il mio amico non aveva capito.

Il resto della serata non è andata meglio.

I ragazzi hanno ordinato dal menù un piatto di carne che, però, non era disponibile, per cui la cameriera ha proposto un'alternativa che, successivamente, si è rivelata per nulla soddisfacente (un grosso osso, con molto grasso e poca carne, pagato 24 euro).

Io ho ordinato un'insalata di pomodoro e burrata, che è risultata completamente immersa nell'olio.

Le ragazze hanno ordinato tre piatti di soli pomodori, anche questi risiltati completamente immersi nell'olio.

Abbiamo chiesto del pane (disponibili a pagarlo) ma ci hanno portato solo un panino, perché era finito e non avevano altro pane (!).

Abbiamo poi ordinato degli hamburger ma il pane ci è sembrato quello imbustato che si compra nei supermercati.

Unici piatti che ci sono piaciuti sono la tortilla di patate ed il rodaballo con verdure: questi si buoni.

La ciliegina sulla torta quando siamo andati a pagare: ci siamo accorti che nella proforma i tre piatti di soli pomodori erano stati indicati come insalate di pomodoro con burrata, chiedendoci 12,30 euro l'uno.

Quando abbiamo chiarito che non avremmo accettato di pagare quella cifra assurda per quattro pomodori, hanno sostituito l'importo con 8 euro a piatto.

Aggiungo qualche foto dei piatti pieni di olio, dei pomodori per i quali sono stati chiesti 8 euro, dei resti della carne proposta in sostituzione di quella non disponibile, dell'unico panino che il ristorante aveva a disposizione e delle due proforma (con pomodori a 12,30 euro e poi, dopo la mia protesta, a 8 euro).

Ci è stato anche chiesto, mentre pagavo, se era andato tutto bene... l'ho presa per una provocazione ed ho preferito non rispondere.

Davvero un'esperienza da dimenticare, che poteva segnare negativamente la nostra opinione su Granada.

Fortunatamente la sera successiva abbiamo trovato un vicino ristorante, invece, tra i migliori nei quali abbiamo mai mangiato (da me recensito sempre...
