My family and I, like most of you, recently got scammed in this store for 96.60€, I've already spoken to the tourist information of Granada and placed a complaint through Spain’s administration, but I don't think one person is going to make a difference.
Please take the time and REPORT this shop to put an END to this.
Hang on to your PURCHASE TICKET and attach it to your online complaint (if you still have it).

OLD MESSAGE Be aware! BIG TOURIST TRAP! They will persuade you to buy much more than you intended to, don't fall for their fake charisma.
The thought of this message not being received by the tourist that pass by the shop is a shame.

Read moreAVOID. Nuts are tasty we were given a free sample. Prices are advertised by weight, however instead of being able to ask for a given weight of nuts as is customary in any other establishment on the planet which sells by weight you are forced into buying the nuts by the bag. The bag is filled and then weighed at the till on the other side of the shop, at which point you are coerced into purchasing a greater quantity of nuts than you were anticipating. We asked how much a small bag of nuts would weigh and were told 150g which would have been 6 euros, so asked for half a bag. When weighed this bag was then over 200 grams or 11 euros as the price came to. I refused to pay this and left the nuts at the till. I would encourage others to be empowered to do the same. There are many other markets where you can purchase the same treats for far more reasonable prices from honest people. Don't be fooled into reading positive reviews from those who have only reviewed one or two places previously. The produce here looks great and there is no reason why this shop should not flourish if they traded honestly. A tourist tax is fair but this is bordering on extortion in my opinion. I would not accept this in the UK if it were being done to tourists from Spain so felt the need to call them out on Google...
