Excellent food served by friendly staff in a small side street restaurant.
I don't know what it is about the Canaries, but they have some truly incredible "Indian" restaurants. And La Concina Hindu is one of them
I highly recommend the lemon rice.
We first tried this place after a day on a nearby beach and were covered in sand, still wearing our beach / tourist clothes but were greeted warmly and served without any comments about our untidy state. That's worth a star of it's own (OI GOOGLE WAKE UP!!).
Prices are average for good food.
They serve 0% beer, so you're safe to drive here, and there's a huge car park across the corner of the junction.
My 'mild' karahi was hotter than Id expected, but my wife say's her balti could easily have been notched up to a medium.
An excellent find recommended by our J2 rep.

Read moreHad dinner here last night - absolutely delicious.
Firstly - the menu is brilliant - it is perfectly laid out - and an amazing choice of dishes - there is something for everyone. It is also wrote in a way that caters for everyone - i.e.: if you love Indian food but just can't eat very spicy/hot food - then the menu will allow you to pick which level of spice/hot you want.
As for the food itself - WOW............just delicious. The flavours were incredible. I had the lamb - it was so tender - perfectly cooked. The rice was so good too - perfectly cooked and so tasty.
My wife had the chicken madras curry. Again, the chicken was perfectly cooked and extremely high quality. She also got a portion of the naan butter bread - it was so light - just delicious.
Thoroughly enjoyed the meal - can not wait to go back.
If you are ever in Los Abrigos - I highly recommend a visit to...
Read moreWhat a great find! An authentic Indian restaurant in South Tenerife. A family restaurant, the food and service here are worth 5 stars. We were their first guests when they opened in March 2025 before our departure for the summer. And we were so looking forward to our return visit. We’ve been twice in the last week. Particular favourites are the Peshwari Naan, the special Cocina Hindu Rice which has chicken, prawns, lamb and veg. We had the lamb korma and prawn spinach both of which were delicious. Other dishes were the lamb tika and cauliflower curry. We finished on all occasions with kulfis - mango and pistachio. Homemade and...
