The (fiery - by request) Bloody Marys and the diverse range of fresh juices further exemplify Jara’s commitment to quality. And for a casual meet-up, their coffee is renowned as the best in town, drawing regulars and newcomers alike.

What truly sets Jara apart, though, is the exceptional service provided by Louisa, Marie, Lucas, Bella, and ‘Mama.’ Their extraordinary efforts in accommodating guests flawlessly every time elevate the dining experience, creating a welcoming atmosphere akin to a community hub.

While the prices align (and often beat) other high-end establishments in the area (and indeed, across the island), Jara surpasses its peers with a service level that remains unmatched. This distinction ensures that while others may compete in price, they fall short in the holistic dining experience that Jara consistently delivers.

With over 20 visits this year alone, encompassing brunches and lunches, it’s evident that Jara At The Standard is more than a restaurant; it’s a beacon of exceptional cuisine and stellar service in Ibiza.

We visited Jara at The Standard for the first time the other day. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Ibiza Town at Vara de Rey. The decor is elegant and gave off a distinct London-inspired vibe, which added to the atmosphere. The staff was nice and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience.

However, I felt that the prices were not justified by the overall ambience. It’s definitely on the expensive side, and while it’s worth visiting once to see what it’s about, there’s nothing particularly unique or special that stands out to warrant a return visit.

I didn't even know The Standard still had a hotel open anymore.

I loved the decor here. It felt loungey, not too upscale, and not too European.

We ordered ravioli special, potatoes and Cesar salad with chicken. Yes, it was all over the place. I love pasta, the famous Spanish potatoes and we wanted something light.

Food was delicious minus the potatoes. They were decent. They gave us a nice portion. We couldn't even finish half of it.

Cesar salad was great! 💯 Ravioli was yummy 😋. I was concerned the portion would be 2 pieces. It was plenty for two people.

The service was decent. Not bad, and I don't remember anything that stood out.
