Really rude waiter. Let me start by saying that I know that waiters can have bad days too and I understand if they are brusque and I have a high tolerance for said brusqueness. In this case, however, the waiter was straight up arrogant and rude. From the beginning, I felt uncomfortable around him but it got worse. We ordered something but he misheard us. Totally fine, that happens all the time. He brought us one main dish instead of two, we told him that it was a misunderstanding. He then stormed of angrily without saying anything and did not return. Read moreFinally, after 4 years, we got back to this cute restaurant. The food is always excellent, doesn't matter what is on the card. This time, we shared a thai salad as a starter (Like papaya salad but with green apple - genius local twist!).
I had grilled salmon with the crispiest skin ever, and it tasted smooth like butter! It came with wasabi mayo and grilled onions.
My partner had the Saltimbocca, which was extra tender, accompanied by the fluffiest and creamiest mashed potato ever.
For dessert, we chose Panna Cotta - it came with a mousse that tasted like yuzu (citrus). Heavenly.
The service and host are efficient, charming and friendly. The prices really reasonable for the quality of the food and the love that goes into it.
