Manapany Eivissa — Restaurant in Ibiza

Regrettably, our dining experience was unsatisfactory. While on holiday, we sought out an establishment in the old town that offered traditional and authentic cuisine. Based on the numerous photographs displayed, we believed this restaurant to be a family-run business with a long history. We placed an order for two chicken milanese dishes, a familiar selection from previous dining experiences, priced at €23 each and accompanied by baked potatoes and mashed potatoes.

The food was served promptly, however, upon tasting the chicken, we were met with an unpleasant surprise. The texture resembled a fishy chicken burger, and the chicken itself lacked freshness and was excessively dry. Furthermore, my colleague's chicken exhibited a concerning dark brown coloration on the inside. Drawing from my two decades of experience in the restaurant industry, it was evident that the chicken had been cooked from a frozen state and was of inferior quality. The mashed potatoes, unfortunately, were not freshly prepared but rather reconstituted from a packaged mix.

Upon expressing our dissatisfaction, the server acknowledged that the dishes were not made to order and lacked freshness. Despite this admission, only one dish was removed from the bill.

It is crucial to recognize that a restaurant's primary objective is to provide a positive experience and ensure the quality of its offerings. Failure to meet these expectations raises concerns about the viability of the business operation.

Love this place. 5 of us visited here last Wednesday and we all had different meals and no one was disappointed. Personally, I highly recommend the chicken wok in curry sauce - I wish I lived closer so I could pop back weekly.

Staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming, providing information on their food on request and helped suggest some of our choices.

The restaurant itself is clean and classy without being too posh and I think will suit the majority of people.

Pricewise, I felt it was spot on given the location and quality. This area of ibiza is relatively expensive so I wouldn't take much notice of others saying it's expensive - it is, but so is everywhere else.

I'm definitely going back next time I'm in ibiza.

This place looked nice! We sat down and waited 10 minutes before someone came over and told us that they would first clean our table before taking our order. 20 minutes later he returned and cleaned the table. When asked if they had sangria he said NO and walked away without any other suggestions or taking our order. The other waitress was busy doing stuff at the empty tables.. 10 minutes later we finally ordered some drinks. When we were asked what we wanted to eat we said that we just wanted to drink something. The waiter got all grumpy and told us that they were a restaurant, not a terrace and we needed to order food.. while we sat outside.. on the terrace.. We politely walked away and had very good sangria in another...
