YOUSUSHI — Restaurant in Ibiza

If you're looking for sushi at a bargain on the island of Ibiza, YouSushi is a must-visit restaurant in the heart of Ibiza Town.

On arrival, the dark exterior with a weathered sign showing a selection of six Menu del Dia dishes may seem uninviting, but it was sufficient to get my attention.

Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised by the bright, clean, light wood and red decor, which gave the restaurant a spacious and welcoming atmosphere. The counter was completely obscured by awards, which is always a good sign of the quality of the food.

When I dined at YouSushi, it was exceptionally early on a Monday winter lunchtime, and the restaurant was quiet. The staff were quiet, unobtrusive, perfectly pleasant and efficient.

Although the menu looked extensive, I was short on time and decided to go for one of the Menu Del Dia options. For only 14 euros, I was served a varied meal that left me thoroughly sated. The three-course meal included Miso Soup, flavourful noodles, and a surprisingly excellent sushi selection.

The drink list was reasonable, and I was impressed by the house red wine, which was remarkably good.

I cannot say much about the clientele as I didn't see anyone else during my visit, but the restaurant had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel comfortable dining alone.

Overall, YouSushi offers excellent value for money, and the quality of the food is superb for the price point.

The only downside was the weathered exterior, but once you step inside, you'll find a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

Be aware if you are a real Japanese shushi lover. First, the restaurant is owned by a Chinese family which have no clue of how to make real sushi. ) I feel sorry for Japanese people who were humiliated by this kind of horrible so-called sushi.

The restaurant also forced you to pay tips. After I finished my meal yesterday, I asked the waitress for scuba diving club suggestion. She asked me to wait for her boss. While I was waiting, I asked for the bill and paid for it. I can hear that another waitress said that the lady is waiting for her 70 cents change, o come on, is only 70 cents, just leave it. That waitress just avoid to take my money and bill to cashier till I leave. For sure, please avoid, I have tried another Raman restaurant in town which is much better and officially operated by Japanese. If anyone is interesting in Osaka ramen, definitely wealth to try. FATAL. Pongo 1 estrella y porque no puedo poner menos. Un trato nefasto. El repartidor tardó 1h en llegar a casa, se puso en contacto conmigo porque según él el gps no le indicaba bien la dirección, le envíe por WhatsApp de mil maneras la ubicación y seguía diciéndome que no le aparecía, además a través de varias llamadas también le comuniqué cómo podía llegar y seguía diciéndome que no. He pedido mil veces comida a domicilio y nadie nunca ha tenido ningún problema en tráemela. Cuando por fin encuentra la casa el muy maleducado me dice que la culpa era mía y de muy malas maneras me entrega la bolsa de la comida y una de las bandejas se cae al suelo. Cuando abro la bolsa veo que para colmo falta una de las bandejas de sushi. Llamo al restaurante para comunicarlo y la señora me dice que no, que tiene que estar ahí. Le repito unas 15 veces que no, que falta, que el resto de cosas sí están pero que falta una bandeja de 8 piezas y ella me siguió diciendo que era imposible. Tras 15 minutos de discusión por teléfono la solución que me da es que en el próximo pedido le recuerde que me ponga lo que faltaba en este pedido (cuando obviamente nunca más pediré en este sitio y no se iba a acordar de mi). Le digo que no, que me traiga el sushi que me falta o que me devuelva el dinero de esas piezas que faltan y su respuesta seguía siendo que no, que se lo recuerde cuando haga un pedido de nuevo. ¿Qué clase de atención es esta? En resumen, una atención horrible, con muchas incidencias y ninguna solución efectiva. Además que el sushi no es para nada de calidad… NO RECOMIENDO PARA...
