Restaurante Mar Ali — Restaurant in Jerez

This was our 2nd visit here, the first was 3 years ago and it was fantastic, now it has all changed. The wine was good, that's about all, the spring rolls were flavourless, we had a very incopid chicken chop suey, strangely the only flavour was of burnt fish, we also had a dish of chicken noodles, they were the blandest tasteless noodles I have ever had, and also very very greasy. Sorry but we won't be eating...

We weren't particularly impressed. Chicken with peppers turned out to be a chicken breast with half a green pepper doused in a sauce not much more advanced than soy sauce - and that's it. The spring roll was also uninspiring. Whilst not expensive, for what it was we felt it was not good value.

Este restaurante para mí es el mejor sitio donde puedes comer comida filipina / asiática pero de enorme calidad y con un toque diferente al resto. Lleva a cargo del mismo una familia Filipina encantadora, donde el servicio y la atencion de Ali (camarera entre otras) te hacen sentir en casa, el trato es muy cercano y familiar y sobre todo, y lo más importante, la comida, un auténtico espectáculo de sabores y variedad, donde personalmente recomiendo, entro muchos, el pollo con almendras tradicional, imposible de encontrarlo más bueno en otro sitio. Mark el cocinero es una gran persona y atento a que todo siempre este bien para los clientes. Otro plato increíble es el Sisig, opciones de todo tipo (para quien no quiera carne), plato de Tofu con sabor increíble. Subo fotos para que se aprecien la pinta de los mismos.
