Hubby and Wifey enjoy this. I ordered the Picanha medium steak, sadly they tend over cook their steaks, not only here but the whole strip. If I am honest it came out more well done, with very little pink in the middle. Also it could have been a sirloin, and was on the slightly chewy side. Picanha steak normally has a fatty rind on it, this piece has none, which was a shame. Ok, but nothing special. But wifeys dish was the best, chicken Fajitas, out of many tried at different places, this was by far the better. Most places serve as a stack, but here it's on multiple plates. I prefer it like this, It makes it the dish look like a feast. Jusicy and succulent with nice little spicy hits of jalapenos. I wish the wraps were bigger... But that's just me being greedy. If I had one piece of advice, I would focus solely on perhaps chicken dishes and making them the best. In keeping with the restaurant name and making it more stand out. What this place offers is the average of the strip. Good, not the best, and not the worst. The aesthetics of the restaurant look very Spanish with rustic lamps hanging from the ceilings. Gives it a nice atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly, however at times they do leave you by yourself. And it wasn't particularly busy, roughly 10 of 30 tables, so I wish they just a little more attentive. But overall not a bad meal and enjoy by us both.

We came for our final meal of our holiday and it’s safe to say it was a disaster. The starters came out nicely and well presented however the sweet chilli sauce was missing from the chicken pockets meaning they were very bland. We asked for the chilli sauce 3 times from 3 different servers and nothing came. Our mains arrived- we ordered one surf and turf which was appalling. It was ordered medium and came dry, tough and well done, with three scabby prawns which frankly tasted off. The Canararian potatoes were dry as a bone and not seasoned, we have had traditional Canarian potatoes and these were disappointing to say the least. We then ordered two sirloin steaks, one rare and one medium. We got one fillet rare and one sirloin rare. Both were tough, chewy and unseasoned. The side salad was literally chucked out of bag onto a plate. My mother in law ordered mixed skewered meats and got a mixed bbq platter when she doesn’t eat pork. The service was slow, the staff were rude, the general manager rolled his eyes at us multiple times and was rude throughout. We left our meals and paid for what we ate and our drinks. As someone who works as a manager in the hospitality industry this place is an utter shambles. Avoid at all costs, do not be disappointed and hungry at 10pm at night like we did! leaving with empty pockets and empty bellies.

2 years ago I visited this restaurant and wrote a review, the restaurant responded with we hope to see you soon and the stars aligned for my return to Poco Loco. I brought a large group of 9 with me so the stakes were high. We all sat down and chose what we wanted from a menu with a big selection to choose from. We started to order but when we got to our drinks we were informed that there was no cocktails, no mocktails and no smoothies, this was on a Saturday night so the lack of cocktails was unexpected and a disappointment all round, also the waiter who told us about this was very uncaring, in a country so hot I’ve never had a waiter so cold. Regardless we ordered other drinks and we were served at a reasonable time. The food however wasn’t up to par. The steaks were incorrectly cooked, the bolognese sauce tasted like beef fajitas, service was minimal never came back to check on us, they never specified which mojo sauce was served with the canary potatoes. The whole experience was purely transactional. There was some positives most of my group enjoyed their food and the experience however there is still many improvements that need to be made in order to change atmosphere of the place.

Such slow slow service!

So disappointed to give this resteraunt such a deservingly low rating; the decor, space, and menu is beautiful, probably interior wise the nicest in Fuerteventura! We had such high hopes the service and food would match the look. It did not.

We waited over an hour for our starters which was just 'bread with tomatoes' and muscles. During our time waiting for our starters 3 tables around us who arrived 40 plus mins after us had sat down, ordered and eaten there starters and some even onto mains. We eventually found a server who located our starters which had been sitting at the window, we assume the entire time as they were soggy and freezing cold, but at that point we were happy to finally have food and just ate it.

We then continued the wait for our mains which was suppose to be a well done sterlion steak and a medium rare surf and turf. Again we waited roughly a further 40 mins, during which a server came and asked if we wanted the desert menu! When we said we were still waiting for our mains she seemed confused and just said "oh ok" and left. Later a different server asked if we liked the food, we again said we hadn't gotten it yet! I suppose there was language barrier because she just said " your welcome" and left.

Eventually when all the surrounding tables had come and gone, we asked another server if there was an issue with the food that we had been waiting and all the people who came hours after us had eaten and left before we even started? she told us there's something broken in the kitchen, which I find hard to believe cause everyone else around us food was coming out fine and coming out fast? Finally after even longer wait, we found yet another server who went and got us our food, but the well done sterlion arrived raw and dripping blood, and the medium rare surf and turf arrived extremely well done. I had to proceed to eat my overdone surf and turf while we waited on the raw sterlion to be cooked.

We had planned on getting desert but we didn't want to wait another hour for that so we asked for the bill. The server giving us the bill asked if we enjoyed the food we explained yes but we were bit fed up the meats were mixed up, we waited over an hour for cold wet starters over another hour for mains, she apologised and said she'd look into it she came back offering us shots from her boss (which most resteraunts give you anyway with the bill!) but we declined and just asked for the bill.

Ultimately a lack of communication or misunderstanding on the servers end seemed to be the issue. The original server who took our order to begin with, never once came to our table after and all the following servers were having to catch up and fix each others mistakes? Not once did we see the same server at our table twice, which I think paired with language barriers caused confusion on their end.

An extremly frustrating dinner. The ajoining desert bar however is the opposite, they have excellent friendly service and are really speedy. Plus great crepes... the desert bar gets 5 stars. The resteraunt 1 star. Polar...

We were lured in by the cheap prices but wish we had paid out more for somewhere else. Service was extremely poor. We waited a long time for our orders to be taken. When asked how big the steak as it doesn't specify on the menu we were told "quite big, a good size for you" whatever that means... Food came out quite quickly from what looked a nice and varied menu but unfortunately the food wasn't great. Also, the waiter literally ran away without even pausing when giving us the food, leaving me without the sauce that comes with my meal and didn't ask if we needed anything else. So my boyfriend got up and had to help himself to the sauces in the middle of the restaurant under a counter and I waited for mine... asked the waiter that left our food as he ran past again. He said yes, kept going past but have brought it so I had to ask someone else who eventually brought it so we could start eating. Mixed grill had some small, poor quality pieces of meat including steak (which my boyfriend wasn't asked how he wanted cooked) and I had the "good size for you" steak. It was quite big but extremely chewy to the point that I wanted to spit some out and didn't really enjoy it. Unfortunately, none of the staff came back to ask how the food was so didn't have the opportunity to complain. When they came to collect the plates we hastily asked for the bill in the fear that if we didn't we would be waiting forever for it! Will not be returning and would...

There is always a man outside ready to help you out for menu, some may find it intrusive but some may not. Either way he is very polite. Restaurant is one of the better looking restaurants. Clean, well designed and good flow of sir due to the huge open windows along it's walls. Open gantry kitchen.

Menu is different to their website now and to previous photos by the looks of it from the other reviews.

Service is friendly by 90% of staff. Very professional for example. Water is poured for you, thick napkins laid via utensils and not touched by the staff, free standing wine buckets if wine is ordered and wine poured for you etc, app get nice and feels a bit more special than some restaurants "on the strip"

Steaks are one of the best in Corralejo, seasoned well, not overcooked and tender. Arrives on wooden planks with a total metal dish on top go keep it all pipeong hot. Drinks are average priced. Starters are all absolutely amazing and not the usual you find in every other restaurant which is such a bonus.

Staff when not over pressured by a busy restaurant are attentive and friendly, however when too busy the service does become a bit basic so it is best to get in early.

Been a few times trying various meals they serve.

The desserts are to die form they have a ice cream parlour next door making the ice cream from scratch and every flavour imaginable and they so not disappoint.

Well done poco loco for being a...
