Hamburgueseria cafetería Tocata — Restaurant in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

2024 Came back after a long time. It was quiet, strange since it's a great place for a quick or simple bite. We had a hot dog (2.50€), a regular burger - without cheese or any toppings (3.25€), and a plate of BBQ chicken wings that came with a handful of fries (12€). The hot dog was kinda skinny but the chicken wings were perfect and the fries were well salted and well cooked.

Coke and caña Estella Damm were 2.20€ each. Total 22€. They also had meat paella today (Saturday), it looks like they make a big one and serve it through the day, they said just 9€ for a big dish. If you seat at the terrace you get direct sea views. It can get a bit windy on that street, but it was fine today.

Just a local-style bar, making local-style food at pretty much local style prices (which is a bit of a revelation for Las Canteras!). Lots of the sandwiches seem to come with finely shredded cabbage, tomato and allioli which works really well.

For a €4 bocadillo de pescado a la plancha and a €2,50 caña you can't really go wrong at those prices - (well I guess you could but - these are pretty good). I...

The homemade burger with great homemade sauces was a very nice discovery. Just on the corner of Paseo de Las Canteras you can find this local Burgueseris where you can be served like a king.
