Only went there just because I saw a 4.7 rating
Food is good and staff very friendly( with us ) but I think portions doesn’t match the price tags comparing to other places in central Las Palmas.
We had a salad for 12 euro and it was very small we finished everything in 3 minutes.
I wouldn’t go back as if you take 3 dishes each and drinks you can easily spend 60/80 euros For what the place is I don’t think is worth going.
We had 1 tomato and tuna salad each one beer and 1 small bottle of water with bread and cost us 30 euro.
Wanted to take papa arugada but saw the price was £10 for that, the highest I have seen.
Will not going back and do not recommend
When we went mostly tourist were there. One of the customers was complaining seated outside we could hear it, the owners were shouting back and making comments in front of us (very unprofessional ) that is the abc of customer service not...
Read moreThe most friendly host and hostess I have met on my entire trip. They not only had a blackboard with all their specialties written in English, they also had photos and showed me one by one what was what. Finally I am ordering food with full understanding of everything on offer. They were also considerate enough to show me a half size option when I ordered too much. I really appreciate your honesty and kindness! I had Zamburinos which was a type of tiny scallop, cod filled peppers, and half octopus with potatoes. Everything had its distinct flavour. I loved the octopus best, tender and warm. Another good thing about them is they stay open from 2pm to midnight without the inconvenient gap in between. Beware google maps is inaccurate, it kept leading me to the Cathedral which is quite 6 minutes walk away. Just look up their street address and...
Read moreCame here for dinner while on my honeymoon. Had to wait a little bit, as expected given the high ratings, but it was definitely worth it. My wife and I were absolutely amazed at how good the food was! Everything was fresh, hot, and came out well-timed. We are English-speakers, and despite our efforts to speak Spanish, they were helpful in reverting to English to better help us—very kind of them to do! The staff was friendly and they were attentive to our needs. We ordered the croquettes, papas con mojo (a Canarian tradition), and sirloin Pedro Jimenez. All was so tasty, highly recommend if you travel to Las...
