Bar La Terraza De Valeria — Restaurant in Málaga

I absolutely love that terrace! Definitely one of my faves, beautiful views, great vibes and awesome service every time I go.

Last visit, there was a tiny mix-up with our drinks (my friend got a regular cocktail instead of a virgin as she had requested), but when the other waiter, Joseles came to serve us, he caught it right away, kindly explained what could’ve happened when his colleague took the order, was super nice, apologised about the mistake, fixed it super fast with a smile on his face and a side joke to break the ice, like a profesional bartender would! Excellent! That’s why I keep coming back!

Only small note: I’m super picky about espresso martinis (and I understand it’s a hard cocktail to get right, in fact most of the times I’m reluctant to order it because I’m usually disappointed), last time’s (and that was a while ago, probably a couple of years) was perfect, but this one wasn’t my fave. No biggie though, because the lime cake cocktail? Oh my...

The La Terraza De Valeria is a lovely rooftop bar sitting on top of the Roommate Valeria Hotel in the heart of Malaga. I love coming here on the fifteen floors of the hotel to get to the rooftop. We've come here frequently and I enjoy coming here especially during Christmas nights however while it is nice and warm during the day, at night it's a different atmosphere that you're required to cover up because of the bitter wind but there is a firepit you can ask the waiters to bring. They also can bring blankets. We enjoyed having a cocktail and a few slices of Iberian ham which was perfect for celebrating the festive period. We went here for drinks between Christmas and New Year’s as the place was strongly recommended to us. However after waiting downstairs for a table for a long time we were finally sent upstairs and received by a very unprofessional and rude waitress who didn’t make us feel welcomed at all. We ordered drinks and asked if there had any light snacks up on which the waitress replied “peanuts” we asked if they had any other snacks like olives, again she repeatedly answered “peanuts”. After this went on for a while whatever we asked her for she rudely kept saying “peanuts” and nothing else. So we asked her to bring us some peanuts which she didn’t do.
