I find the restaurant confusing and disappointing, not recommending it for tourists.

Recommended by a friend, I went to queue up 10 minutes before the open time, when the queue started to move in, at some point it stopped and I was not sure what to do. There were many people standing right in front of the door and blocked the entrance while there is no staff guiding the people. At some point, I noticed a local person squeezing himself through the crowd and got a buzzer out. I guessed that was the waiting system. I tried to do the same, got in and no one had time for me, I tried to catch a waiter and he pointed to another one standing remotely in the middle of the bar. I asked for the buzzer for waiting, he eventually handed over one to me over the heads of the people sitting around the bar and told me it would be one hour or one and half hour of waiting time. I understood it and went for a walk for an hour. When I got back, I still didn’t understand how I can know what‘s the status and if I needed to inform someone. As always many people are blocking the door, no staff is easily accessible, I squeezed myself in and luckily the staff behind the bar recognized me remotely and told me it was still not my turn, he said number 2 and 4 are in but you are number 12. I waited there for another half hour, many people went in and many people went out. I still didn’t understand what was the status and had to go to ask again. The whole system was very intimidating because the only person that could answer this question is the one behind the bar serving food to 15 people far away from the entrance and I felt I had to shout through all these people‘s heads to talk to the person. He was impatient and decided not to speak English anymore after I went to ask the second time. But the part I understood was nothing changed in the past half hour, still only number 2 and 4 were inside. I handed over my buzzer to him and left, after waiting 1.5 hours. I was not sure if there was really a queue system, if I needed to stand there blocking the door to get a seat or how this works. But not worth the...

Among the tapas bars we visited, this place had an outstanding atmosphere, reminiscent of what you see in videos. The waiters were pleasant and kind. Our overall experience was positive. Arriving around 2:30-3pm, we found the place full. We were given a buzzer to alert us when a table became available. While waiting outside, we placed our order. Once seated inside, our food arrived promptly. We ordered three dishes: Malaga prawns: These were disappointing. For nearly 30€, we received 250 grams (with shells), equating to 14 shrimp-sized prawns. They were simply boiled and unremarkable in taste. Grilled lamb chops: Recommended by the waiter, these had an overpowering meaty taste. The meat on each chop was sparse, no more than half a small matchbox in volume. The fries that came with it on the other hand were super tasty. Overall it is not worth the price. Grilled octopus: This was exceptional - one of the best we've had. The accompanying golden potatoes dressed in olive oil were perfect. Our bill totaled 75€, which seemed high for the portion sizes. However, the excellent atmosphere, service, and the outstanding octopus dish...

Really good place! My husband is italian and he is very selective about food, so he chooses places to eat. When we arrived it was 10 min before opening and there was already a line outside! We entered one of the firsts and took a small table. After 10 min the place was so full that people were eating standing lol so we really felt lucky. We tried their famous iberian prociutto and it was fantastic! Yes, the dishes are not cheap, but the quality and service was amazing! We also had some other dishes like pork fillet with muchroom souce - a must for those who loves muchrooms! I was so full after two dishes (pork fillet with muchrooms was huge). We had in total 5 different dishes including their most expensive tipe of prosciutto and a bottle of wine, as a compliment they gave us some profiterol - that was sweet! Totally we spent 58 euro that was really great price for all we ate! The waiter was giving an amazing service! Couldn't be...

I simply love this bar. It's hidden away in the south west corner of the SoHo district but it is a classy place. It is very traditional, there is a "tourists" menu in English but there are very few people there who are not local Spaniards enjoying a really good traditional tapas bar. The tapas is great, some very different things like confit tuna steak and meatballs the size of coconuts; the traditional tapas of calamari, sardeens and my favourite, gambas Pil Pil which comes sizzling hot and full of lovely garlic and paprika - however the speciality is the ham. Sit and watch the staff carve perfect plates of black hoof serrano, accompanied buy lovely Manchego cheese. Every trip to Malaga for us starts with a trip to this lovely little bar, a couple of glasses of wine and some tapas is the best way to set yourself up for an afternoon of strolling around this lovely city.

♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ I have only great things to say about this local tapas bar and restaurant. Definitely one of the well hidden gems in Soho area and barely any tourists inside! The 3 times I went, I was the only tourist but was made feel welcome by the staff. All were very nice and friendly, that I just had to go back and bring my boyfriend the 2nd time with me. Tapas: The baquorenos en vinager y aceite were my favourite, as well as some chorizos (spicy and black pudding). Full portion: Steak in wood mushroom sauce was also good if you want something more filling. I wish I had more days in Málaga to try everything else on their menu! 😊 Tip: Make a reservation for dinner as they tend to be very busy (even through lunch time!) if you want a seat by the bar, come at 13:00 (more people come after 13:30 and then you won’t be lucky with seats!)
