I made a reservation for an outdoor table via WhatsApp, and from the very first moment I could tell this place is run with true passion by the owner and his team. Quite simply, these were the best tapas we had in Málaga: no-nonsense food, pure and full of flavor, served in a lovely setting.

We enjoyed Ensaladilla Rusa, Camperito Jarana, Croquetas, Jamón Ibérico, Queso Viejo Puro de Oveja, and Pollo Picantón each one full of taste and beautifully prepared. The Verdejo was delicious and, on top of that, everything was amazingly affordable.

This spot is also popular with locals, which says everything about the quality of the food, so making a reservation is recommended.

This is exactly the kind of place that excites us and one we’ll definitely keep coming back to. My photos don’t do these delicious dishes justice, just go and enjoy...

There is a reason why this place is currently rated 4.9 on Google with a good helping of reviews. We came here on our first night in Malaga, being very fussy and wanting to have flamquein ( apologies if that’s spelt wrong!) and this place looked like it had a tasty one - I wasn’t wrong! The staff were super polite and patient even with my bad Spanish, and helped me out with the translations! The food is buonissima and the drinks they have a great selection. And the prices are super good. For example, 1 main and 3 good size Tapa, 4/5 pints and 3 gin and mixers was around 70 euro. This place exceeded our expectations we had to come here for our last night in Malaga also. We tried another place whilst this place was closed, and it could not even compare to how great this place is for food and for its atmosphere! Thank...

We patiently waited for about an hour for our four tapas orders. At first, we thought this might be normal in the tavern culture. After a while, when all the tables inside emptied, we wanted to move to an outdoor table to at least wait while smoking. When we asked, realizing we had already waited long enough, we found out that our order had been forgotten. We ate the meal we paid for, but we couldn’t enjoy it slowly in the traditional tapas style. So much time had passed that the bill arrived without us even asking, and we were already feeling sleepy. The management apologized for this. However, we came based on the reviews, and one evening of our short Malaga trip ended with this...

Couldn’t recommend more!!! After spending 10 days in Malaga trying out various highly rated food spots suggested on trip advisor, many of them for tapas, we got to this one and I’m not exaggerating when I say it is phenomenal. The food is not just tasty, it’s delicious. The service excellent, the owner , who’s also the cook and a waiter hand in hand with the other staff is just the loveliest guy. The atmosphere authentic, relaxed and just great. And after eating half of the menu and getting absolutely stuffed, we only paid 50 euro plus tip included. Honestly can’t wait to come back.

Just WOW. I came here because the reviews were so good but wasn’t sure because there are so many touristy places around with good reviews. Never mind - the prawns were the best I’ve ever had! Every bite made me want to close my eyes and moan from how delicious this is. The bread is very fresh and dipped it into the prawn sauce it tastes like heaven. The prawns are also very fresh and flavourful. Wine was great. Owner was so nice and friendly. Wish I had more time in Malaga to try everything on the menu - but if I ever come back this is where I’ll be !
