Ordered two coffees, bloke refused to put sugar in them. Told us there was enough sugar in the muffin my girlfriend ordered. I’m from Australia, so I’ve experienced a lot of coffee snobbery, but this takes it to a whole new level. Perhaps this would be acceptable if the coffee was unbelievably good, but any half decent Sydney or Melbourne cafe could do an equally good iced latte. Also once he could see we were disappointed in the product, he suggested that we put sugar in afterwards. This indicates a fundamental misunderstanding of how to make a good coffee. The sugar needs to be mixed in with the coffee shot. The cold milk of the iced latte will not dissolve the sugar properly. Anyway, this place should have a sign out the front to let clients know that they won’t actually make your coffee how you order it. Imagine going into a restaurant, ordering a medium rare steak and getting one served well done and being told to like it. Simply unacceptable. Wish I had...
Read moreLittle coffee boutique in the center of Madrid. It has 4 small tables where you can seat while enjoying your coffee, and randomly talk to other customers. What an incredible experience. Let me describe it to you:
Small but cozy, 10-12 people max capacity (small tables to rest your coffee while you read or talk).
The coffee is professionally crafted by a super friendly barista! I have been a few times to the place, and today he surprised me with a foam art in the shape of a cat (so my daughter can enjoy it!).
They also sell fresh beans (Dabov)... A must try (if you have a professional machine at home, like me).
They also have homemade cookies and muffins (my kids loved them every time.. try the white chocolate one.. you won't regret ;))
They have a small turntable, usually with Stevie Wonder or other music playing.
A must visit if you happen to be in the...
Read moreThis was a cafe that I like because the coffee is good. I introduced here to my friends. The owner with dark brown short hair is also very kind. I go with my friends, but today, there was a person with long yellow hair that I had never seen before. At first, I didn't know if it was true, but he was asking useless questions and making fun of my difficulty with foreign languages. He laughed along with his friends at the next table. haha. It was really racist. My friends are all from different countries, but they all knew. Instead, my friends looked at me. I thought he was stupid and pitiful for being racist, so I was going to let it go, but today, the coffee was really bad. I won't go there again. I'm sorry, owner...
