The food is so tasty, but the service is TERRIBLE! We were told to sit at the bar, not a problem. We were rushed to order, okay, still, no problem. But while we were eating, a woman starts yelling at us to eat faster! She said that we need to eat quicker because it’s a small restaurant and we can’t stay there. She said they’re busy and need the space. We spent no more than 30-35 minutes maximum.
We’re paying customers, please don’t shout at us. It’s not our fault the local is small. It’s lunchtime, they’re busy, but we ordered a starter, and two rations of gyoza. 30 minutes is not too long to eat 20 gyoza! She didn’t rush anyone else, not the people next to us also seated at the bar, nor the groups at the tables. If you’re stressed or having a bad day, the last thing you want to do is shout at the people giving you their money!
It’s such a shame because they’re handmade and very good, but not worth being yelled it. It was embarrassing, uncomfortable and...
Read moreNothing to complain about the dumplings. They are made right there in front of you and they were delicious. The service however, is a disaster. Or more like non-existent. You’re supposed to order by writing it on a paper, but they don’t talk to you when you come in, let alone explain where these environmentally unfriendly pieces of paper are. The three ladies also seem to be constantly fighting or disagreeing with each other and the atmosphere is not so nice. They bring the food to your table without a word. Also, I wouldn‘t recommend the edamame, they‘re way too soft. EDIT: They’re fighting again as I am editing this, 7 months later. Gyoza is still delicious, service is still non-existent to the point that it’s gotten hilarious. I suppose it makes this place authentic 😂 And instead of the edamame, I do really recommend...
Read moreBeware of the small Chinese woman, she gets confused and super RUDE easily. I ordered gyozas for take out, paid and waited patiently like 25 mins or so then finally asked for my order, and she wouldn’t want to give my order because she’s asking for my payment. I told her I already paid and actually been waiting for her to call my name and hand me my order instead she insisted that she already gave me my order, she’s gotten crazy. The worst thing she handed me my order in a very bad manner and told me to get out. More than embarrassed I felt bad she treated me like I’m some kind of a beggar asking something from her or as if I stole something from her, it might sound exaggerated but yeah she reacted in such ways. Was so uncomfortable, not worth it despite the price and how good the gyozas. Super RUDE!! Scared to go back....
