The vibe of the restaurant was okay but the food was nothing special. I agree with the reviews that state that this place is overrated. I had a high expectation after seeing 4.9 stars out of 3k plus reviews. The service was also disappointing. I had heard so much about Camile. While she was kind, her listening accuracy was low. I had ordered a steak sandwich medium rare and what I got was an extremely overdone, leathery, tasteless piece of meat. I then returned it and asked for eggs benedict and received something completely different. I thought that was comical considering Camile had repeatedly explained to me what eggs benedict was, a dish I have ordered countless times through out my life, and then she didn't even bring that. Additionally, she never checked in afterwards to make sure I was ok with the fix. It was a very odd and disappointing experience. She was never rude but she made it clear that she didn't really care about getting my order right. Maybe the staff were having an off day? Im not sure, but what I do know is that I left hungry and will definitely not...

I discovered Loca Obsesión Brunch online and was immediately drawn to its unique style and vibrant offerings. Upon arrival, it was clear this spot is in high demand — the space is quite small and we had to wait about 15 minutes outside for a table. That said, the wait was well worth it.

One point to note is that the ordering process requires you to go up to the counter and place your full order in advance, which may not be ideal for everyone. However, once seated, the experience was fantastic.

The food was outstanding, with thoughtful presentation and fresh ingredients throughout. The coffee stood out immediately — not only was it rich and flavorful, but I noticed they use a La Marzocco machine, which instantly gave me confidence in the quality. The smoothies were also excellent, refreshing and well-balanced.

Despite the limited space, the ambiance is cozy and inviting, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. This is definitely a spot I’d return to — whether for a casual brunch or simply to grab a great...

I found this place by accident as I was walking around Madrid, and trying different smaller streets to see what was available. I wandered into this one, and they greeted me with a big smile and gracious welcome. After a long day. i just needed a place to rest and charge my phone, use the bathroom and get something light to eat and something to drink. They were so welcoming and helpful, I ended up getting a full dinner and staying for a couple of hours. The service was wonderful, and the food was incredible. The thing that surprised me the most though was the presentation of the food. They went out of their way to make everything beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. Some of the presentations of the food were stunning to look at, but some were just fun. I ended up being able to thank the chef in person, and just like the others I had met at the restaurant, he was super pleasant and gracious.

Overall, I had one of the best dining experiences while I was in Europe. I...

So I was seated with no smile at all! Waiting for the menu until I asked and there was actually a QR code I was not told about when seated. I ordered crazy shakshuka, hot matcha latte with oat milk no sugar and the French toast. Matcha came with sugar however they said it’s sugar free! I think they didn’t know that some matcha powder does actually come with added sugar. The shakshoka was delicious but they served it only with two toasted slice of bread! 2 were not enough and they should at least have 3. The French toast took a little time to come; I literally was falling asleep on the bar 😅. Gladly it tasted good “I had better” Staff were unhappy even talking with each others which is completely not Spain where mostly I see them smiling and happy. Do I recommend yes hopefully better service, but am I coming again no.

The place is fine, the atmosphere is nice but it does not deserve the fame it has at all. The food is good, quite good in fact, the coffee is normal, nothing exceptional, and the juices, smoothies, are served in old, ugly and degraded plastic heads. Not at all pleasant, much better a crystal glass and that's it, they were too modern. The prices, for the service you receive, are excessive. I repeat, the experience is not bad, but it does not deserve 4.9 stars, I'm sure they paid to receive such amount of good reviews. The rating should be between 3 and 4 stars. As always, each person has a different experience and I describe ours. I do not recommend it for brunch, there are better places, cheaper and above all, much better food for the same price.
