Beerhouse Chamberí | Craftbeer Bar — Restaurant in Madrid

Upon arrival we saw that there was a copius amount of crisps (or chips if you're American) but it appears these were for display purpose only.

The guy behind the bar could possibly have offered some tasty tasters; Not just for the free extra beer, but for the sake of acting like a beerhouse and due to our growing hunger.

While it was delightful to see 3 seperate football games on at the same time. I'm fairly sure i have ADD and without sound i got confused as to where i was supoosed to be looking; which in turn forced me to observe the walls which were full of empty slogans such as "beer goes in here", "live, laugh, beer" and "harley davidson".

I mean at least go with "to beer or not to beer" or something.

Anyway, it was good despite all 3 games...

Reseña breve: Cervezotes muy serios, servicio buenísimo y local agradable, bonito, limpio y con buen ambiente.

Reseña larga: Llegué recomendado por unos amigos a éste lugar. Llevaba muchos años sin pisar Madrid y, a pesar de Google, no sabía muy bien qué sitios iban a valer la pena con birra Craft... Wow. Aún viniendo recomendado me llevé una grata sorpresa, sabía que iba a ser un buen sitio, y lo es.

Sabía que tendría buenas cervezas, y las tenía, pero tenía cosas que me sorprendieron un montón, un nivel buenísimo de birra. Aunque no pedí consejo pues ya sabía lo que buscaba tomar, vi al chico que trabajaba en la barra recomendar a otras personas de manera super acertada, amablemente y con paciencia (trabajar con un producto tan específico y más caro de lo "normal" a ojos de la mayoría, a veces, no es fácil...). El trato es genial, un chico muy agradable, te hace sentir como en casa. 😁

El local limpio, ordenado, bonito, con 4 pantallas con distintos eventos deportivos para que después de la quinta pinta no te quedes mirando al suelo aturdido (así se disimula mejor el ciego, 😂).

Yo a la 4ta o 5ta pinta hice el amargo de irme, por que ya iba ciego como una rata (si ya entre regulinchi, pues después de las pintas no te digo na). Pero me acerqué a la barra y me lié, y aún acabe bebiendo más. 😂 Es que no me apetecía irme, ¡estaba agustisimo!

Finalmente por no dar mucha vergüenza y a mi pesar, tuve que marcharme del que para mí, hasta ahora, de los sitios que he visitado, es el sitio de birra artesanal más chulo de Madriz.

Great bar if you're into craft brews. Big tap list (recently increased the number of taps) with a good variety; also a decent selection of beers in the fridges. Also a great place to watch sport! Often fills for the bigger Spanish games. Around 4 screens so when nothing big is on you get all sorts (snooker, skiing, etc...) Next door to two other beer-focused bars and a great taco restaurant.
