Earlier today, I visited this establishment with my dear friend, we utilised the space for a catch-up and some virtual working.

Initially, we were astounded by the beautiful decor and stunning dishes. Indeed, once our food was served we were impressed with the culinary standards.

However… The young waitress with the curly barnet was…. less than courteous. Upon arriving to the till, she gave my friend a hard stare and kissed her teeth disapprovingly. She then proceeded to ignore us for all of 15 minutes! All whilst we smiled and waved in a gracious manner. Eventually, we commanded the situation and informed her we had a table downstairs, to which she despairingly threw us a napkin and tossed some cutlery to the floor toward us.

We thought this was the last we’d seen of her. Alas, we were wrong. A few moments later, we heard a loud clatter and another young waitress had plummeted from the top of the stairs right down to the bottom. Immediately, we rushed over to help her up.

Now, I don’t want to accuse anyone and I’m sure it was just slip/trip. What I will say, is when I looked up from the bottom of the stairs, I saw the aforementioned curly-haired waitress standing at the top of the stairs with a slightly menacing look in her eyes. Can I say for sure it was her who did the deed? No I cannot. But I did have a bad feeling.

A really innovative concept that utterly screams fresh! Takes some of the best and freshest local ingredients and prepares them simply giving you a really mouth-watering meal that is effortlessly healthy and light yet completely fulfilling. Everything about the place is well thought out and friendly, it really is quite an enjoyable experience. The best thing about it is that all those lovely ingredients are laid out in front of you in the open plan kitchen and you get to pick anything you want at all to make your ideal plate. That's a real treat! I've been twice so far, on weekends, and I have enjoyed it a lot. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun (they play good music too, which is a plus). This means you have to queue for a bit, but it goes quicker than you expect, and once you've ordered and found a table your food arrives pretty quickly. I've tried the tuna, humus, falafel, and a selection of their side dishes. The falafel was a bit dry, but everything else was superb. The menu has a sprinkling of buzz terms (like detox, which is not even a real thing), which really isn't necessary because the quality is so good and everything is clearly healthy. Today I placed a delivery order to this store and everything, EVERYTHING went wrong.

First the delivery was delayed. Then it was delayed again, and again. When it finally arrived after 60 long minutes of starvation, the order wasn't mine. It was someone else's, with my same first name. I wanted to cry and eat the delivery man alive. I also wanted to uninstall my honest green app forever, but I didn't. I reached out to support, and they truly helped. They compensated me for the mistake and re-sent the order straight away. Within 30 mins, it was home. And I live in a big city!!

Not only that: when it arrived it had a surprise gift and a smiley on the bag that made all my sorrows go away.
