D.O.C Wine bar Enoteca italiana — Restaurant in Madrid

We visited this wine bar multiple times, and there is a good reason we kept returning. The employees are very friendly and they make great wine suggestions. They have myriad wines by the glass and they are perfectly conserved with their inert gas injection systems. Most of their wines are well priced for the quality and they always bring a tapa with each glass. It is very impressive how well they make everything italian, from their music, to their food to their hundreds of wines. My only suggestion is I would really like it if they had a wine list with their pricing. This would have the benefit of remembering which wines we have tasted as well as not leaving you with a surprise at the end of the night with the bill. Most of their wines are well priced, but we would have liked to have known that one of them was 10 euros a glass. This place is amazing if you like italian wine and I will recommend it to all...

He estado en diferentes oportunidades en esta Vinoteca y aunque el servicio es correcto y el producto bueno tienes que estar muy pendiente de reservar y que no te anulen la reserva y se la den a otro. Reservas con 15 días de anticipación y cuando llegas te dicen que no tienes reserva, que está anulada. La penúltima vez fui con una reserva de 15 días y le había pedido una mesa en particular, el dueño me confirmó que esa era la mesa que habían reserva para mi, me presente 15 minutos antes y la mesa estaba ocupada por un par de chicos, me pidieron disculpa y a mitad del servicio, cuando los chicos se fueron me ofrecieron cambiarme, vaya intentona de reparar una falta de profesionalismo. Aún así les dimos otra oportunidad, algo que no volverá a suceder ni conmigo ni con mis amigos y eso que vivimos casi en frente. En esta oportunidad reservé de nuevo con 15 días de anticipación para un grupo de 6 personas y fui un día antes para confirmar la reserva, porque ya los conozco y efectivamente me dijeron que mi reserva si les había llegado pero que la habían anulado por qué según ellos, las mesas que superan 5 personas debe dejarse una tarjeta de crédito como garantía, algo que nunca especifica ni en la reserva, ni en ningún otro sitio, que me debería haber llegado un mail, mail que le demostré que nunca llegó. Me da la sensación de que a pesar de que puedes ser un cliente constante, si no estás dentro del grupito de amigos de ellos o porque la mesa que íbamos a ocupar era para 10 siendo nosotros 6 simplemente, aunque tengas reserva te la anulan para dársela a algún cliente o amigo que más les interese y cuando llegas te dejan tirado. Estos sitios donde no te respetan y te tratan de explicar que ellos no se hacen responsables de que no te haya llegado el mail anulando la reserva, que ni si quiera te llaman por teléfono, deberíamos borrarlos de nuestras listas ya que hay muchos otros sitios que se pelean por darte un...

We arrived super early to this spot (thanks to our jet lag). They still sat us right away and brought complimentary tapas. The truffle pizza was delicious. The server was very friendly and gave us some great travel tips. We were really impressed to see him serve other customers in English, Spanish, Italian, and a few words of Japanese.
