Review la fellina restaurante
Attendance and ambience: Attended quickly and nicely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reservation made one week ago… reservation was simple enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Table choice : to be honest I feel like perhaps there is a difference in treatment. The fancier you look and are part of an aesthetic the better table you will get If you perhaps look more normal or not that rich aura. The table you will be given is not that great The table I was given was at the exit and where waiters leave and take things behind you ⭐️ Waitress: the waitress service is nice she is court and polite ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
La carta: the design of the menu is nice minimalistic simple to understand well divided and aesthetically pleasing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Food: Lasagna fellina:
The lasagna was delicious, the meat to pasta to sauce ratio was great. The presentation was simple and homey. It was a good balance of flavour and the tomato sauce was rich but not overpowering or overly acidic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cacio e pepe
Creamy sauce side table preparation Could have been a better service cheesiness was there The pecorino tasted amazing. The cook of the pasta could have been a minute or two more it was okay ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cheesecake:
The portion was generous and the texture between liquid cream and firmness was dreamy, the base was quite average and normal but the overall experience was great to savor all the different textures totally worth it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tiramisu: claiming to be authentic Italian I had much more expectations for the tiramisu. The presentation was unconventional I understand the innovation however in this case it just didn’t work. It felt like they had just shoved some tiramisu in the coffee pot, it was refined you couldn’t appreciate the layers. The cream was way too liquidy for what a tiramisu should be but the taste was just okay. ⭐️⭐️
Our overall experience was fine would I return? Perhaps as there were some menu items I was interested in but I hope they aren’t as classist...
Read moreI went a few times just because the food is good but the service is getting worse each time. I went with my friend to a birthday lunch. i came first and ordered drinks, later my friend came and ordered the same ( sparkling water and wine) the waiter brought the wine and forgot the water, later he brought the water but without a glass because as he said he did not know she wanted the glass as well. getting her a glass took 20 min. he came back to take our order, when i ordered what i wanted he asked me: what is that? and i said it is on the menu. He went away to get a notepad (which is of course okay) but proceeded to get down on his knee to write an order. he also asked do we want the starters first or second to which i replyed that we are sharing a starter and we want to eat it first. he brought us the main dishes first and later the starter. for the dessert we asked for a candle and they did not have a lighter in the whole restaurant. The waiting time for drinks and food was super long, in total almost 3 hours while the restaurant had 4 guests. I like the food but the staff is so unprofessional. The food is not cheap and with such bad service i will not be returning which is so sad since they have...
Read moreMy wife and I had a wonderful dinner at a cozy restaurant on May 3rd, 2024. The waiter, whose name I regrettably didn't catch, was incredibly friendly and spoke English perfectly. The ambiance was clean and inviting, and the wine list offered a good selection. We both enjoyed our main courses: the bacalao fish and the eggplant melanzane were delicious. Unfortunately, my wife's shrimp pasta had a strong fishy taste. The server promptly apologized and removed it from the bill, offering her another dish. She opted for another eggplant melanzane, which she enjoyed thoroughly. Due to time constraints, we couldn't try dessert, but we'll definitely be back to explore their menu further. The highlight of the evening, however, was the exceptional service. The waiter's attentiveness and friendliness were truly outstanding, especially in...
