Amazing service, amazing food. The wonderful woman who was their wine expert was so patient with me as she carefully helped me find a wine that agreed with me. She also was kind to help me along with my Spanish when I didn’t quite understand something. She suggested the most amazing dishes to eat as we requested more vegetarian options, they were simple but so full of flavor! Having their own orchard/garden really shows through in their dishes! We got the picks of the season for Mid-October. I had a simple thick slice of tomato (this is a very large tomato!)with cheese on top and it was garnished with olive oil and a pinch of fine salt. Next we had a plate of selected mushrooms and an omelette on the side. The flavors were explosions of happiness in my mouth. Lastly we had the artichoke, and wow, just wow It was perfection. Never had I had such a well made artichoke, Heavenly! We did do dessert, my husband got the fresh peach ice cream (non-dairy) and it was like biting into a perfectly ripened peach. I ordered the chocolate mousse cake and it was everything I hoped for. I will say I could have shared it. I was so full from my earlier dishes. They were very kind and gave me a little box to take the rest with me. I felt so special and so well taken care of. I wish to one day visit Madrid and come again. I will say when you come be dressed business casual as we didn’t know, but they treated us like royalty. Thank you for the best experience! -No photos, we thoroughly enjoyed the evening without our phones, except to help with a few...

I would give this place a pass if you’re coming to Madrid. We were excited to visit but it was disappointing all around. First, they were very confused that our party showed up with 5 people, not 3. Our reservation was clearly for 5 people, and despite that they were frustrated by having to modify a table setting to accommodate the two additional guests.

The service was quite poor. Our servers couldn’t make a single recommendation from wine to food (they seemed perfectly fluent in English by the way, so I don’t think this was a language barrier as much as it was just not knowing their menu) and most of us did not get what we wanted because they were out of half the things we tried to order, which could have been explained from the beginning. What we did get was bland, oily and cold. Whatever you do, do not order the tuna deviled eggs…I was expecting something a little bit elevated for this restaurant, not a messy pile of blended tuna like you might find in a cheap tuna sandwich, on hard boiled egg with heaps of mayonnaise.

Would not come back and would not recommend going in the first place. Many other great spots in...

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years since they first opened and today for the first time I was really disappointed we made our reservation several days before in person abd asked for the main room seating and when we arrived we were moved to the back room our view was of the espresso machine snd no ambiance followed by terrible service and since we ordered the monkfish they showed us the whole fish then by the time they separated the portions it was almost cold we then asked for mayonnaise olive oil and lemon 3x before we got it hence the fish was cold the fried potatoes came out 10 min before so they were cold by now as well we asked for a glass of water and we had to ask several times before it was served the desserts were overly sweet and the Arroz con leche was very liquid as well disappointing the fish was fresh and cooked well and the gazpacho and other starters were very good but thats the only redeeming factor when we complained to the manager on our way out he said we should have called him but he never stopped by to see how we were ...

A very relaxed and enjoyable evening. Quality local produce served in generally fairly simple ways. The fresh tomatoes with burrata were delicious. The fried whiting was cut into large chunks and deep fried just enough to be cooked and was very fresh and delicate. The sirloin steak was cut into small cubes and served in an Asian style ginger, sesame, soy sauce, was very tender and meaty. Roasted artichoke was creamy. Only some of the staff spoke English but we managed, and they do have an English menu online but it seemed a little different than the Spanish version which was confusing. The only thing that was a little disappointing was soggy fries in a couple of dishes.
