The place looked promising based on the rating. I ordered the Morcilla as a starter. It was completely dried out, and served with literally a hand full of cold bone dry fries that looked like left overs from another guest. The Lamb Chops were also fried til every last bit of flavour and colour was gone. The twig of rosemary seemed to be a mere cameo on the plate and had nothing to do with the bland meat. Nor did the stray two chips of fried garlic. The fried served with it were unappealingly pale and limp. After the main course a suspicious greenish liquid was brought to my table and presented as "digestif de ierbas y fruta, similar to Grappa" - I didn't want this, especially not from a water bottle that obviously was tabbed up after every table had its share from it. The dessert cheesecake was okay, if a bit dense and overall uninteresting. The coffee I had ordered with it arrived when I was done. Service generally didn't pay much attention and I had to go fetch them to get the bill. Then I discovered that their "bread service"- one slice of dry bread, no butter or anything - was charged with 3 euros. Overall I think this place lives off some imaginary former glory and does not deserve the 4+...

Our worst dining experience of all the restaurants in either Barcelona or Madrid! When we first arrived for our 6:30 pm reservation , after being seated by an obviously very stressed waiter, and having bread placed on the table (without a word),we were then ignored for 30 minutes while the waiter frantically tried to serve the one other table occupied. Another couple came in immediately after us, was seated and after being ignored for 15 minutes, got up and left! We should have followed! Our mistake! The bread, was stale, there were no utensils on the table (we had to ask for them), when the manager came over after 30 minutes, without any interaction he asked if we were ready to order. We ordered mussels ( only a 1 out of 10), two of us ordered salads- (2 out of 10 and they did not include all the ingredients listed on the menu!). I ordered the hake over vegetables. The sautéed vegetables were good, the hake was a thin piece with bones (3 out of 10 at best). When we got the bill , we were shocked that they charged us 3 euros for EACH of the 3 stale pieces of bread! Compared to the many other great restaurants we have eaten at, an incredibly...

If you are coming here to have a paella after seeing previous photos basically just don’t. We have order seafood paella but the waiter misunderstood as he can not speak a word of English. We ended up having this on the table. There was an English speaker guy but he did not bother himself to take the order that’s why we tried to do our best with body language. Well, once we complained about what we received and showed them how to paella should be with photos, they apologised and took it back. We got the same food in the form of paella- more drier- much more rice -10 min later. We had a few mussel, white fish and peel prawns, 2 scallops it it as you can see and we paid 70euro for this. The photo you see on reviews, paella with king prawns, lobster etc. just for dream probably. When we asked about the photos on google, we have been told that they have changed the menu. Btw they brought a slice of bread which we did not ask for, just a slice per person. They have charged 6 euro for this. If you wanna have a great ripped off story in Madrid, go and see. Otherwise, we would not...

This restaurant delivered an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was phenomenal, but what truly set the evening apart was the impeccable service provided by our waiter, Johan. He was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the entire evening. We started with croquettes and clams, both fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For our main courses, we had the black paella and the seafood paella, and both were exceptional. The black paella had incredible depth of flavor, while the seafood paella was vibrant, perfectly cooked, and generous with its seafood. Every dish felt crafted with care, and Johan’s service elevated the experience even further. It’s rare to find a place where the service is even better than the food, but this restaurant manages to excel at both. Highly recommend!
