HEMU SUSHI BUFFET LIBRE — Restaurant in Madrid

Today I have ordered a lunch menu on the official homepage of the restaurant at 13:30. I have chosen the food to be delivered between 14:00 and 14:30. At 14:50 I called the restaurant, and they told me that the food is still there, because there is a delay because of the rain. I asked, why they have not call me or sent me a message (they had my number and email adress), which question they could not answer. In the end the manager promised that our food will arrive in 10 minutes. However, the delivery-guy arrived to our appartment at 15:30. I asked, if he gives us a discount now, that 2 hours passed since I ordered the food. He said, it is not his fault, it is raining (!!), and he can not do anything. We asked to call his boss, who first offered a discount on our next(!!) order. When we said that this is not okay, and we have called earlier too, and she promised that the food will arrive in 10 mins, eventually she gave us a discount. During all this the delivery-guy behaved very annoyed and he even gave us a bad comment while he was leaving... And I have to say that the sushi from this restaurant is unfortunately not of great quality either. Total...

We were shocked by the rudeness of the staff. We booked a table at 9pm but as we were running late, we called Chic Sushi to confirm if it was possible to postpone our reservation until 9.30pm. Due to other events, we arrived at 9.50pm and we asked if the table was still available, ready to walk out the door if it was not. However, the staff started immediately agressing us, claiming that our reservation was at 9pm and treating us like liers, as they were asking us (in front of all the other clients) to show a proof of our reservation at 9.30pm, which was clearly not possible because it was done over a phone call. The guy who picked up the phone was there and kept quiet even knowing that he was the one confirming the reservation at 9.30pm. The situation turned out being very awkward so we just left and we will...

This has to be one of the best sushi restaurants in Madrid. It's authentic, the rolls are delicious and the staff are friendly. They also speak English (if you can't speak Spanish). I got the spicy tuna maki, miso soup, a prawn and mango roll, and i would highly recommend the vegetable roll. The vegetable roll comes with lots of cilantro and is so fresh. The only thing that was out of the ordinary was we had to ask for ginger. But I noticed that across madrid that ginger is not served unless you ask. I went two days in a row and I will recommend all my friends and family visit this place...
