Looking at la Cuchara from.tbe outside you might think the place is a bit shady but it was quite the contrary. The service we were provide by the staff wad amazing. We honestly felt likr we were at home by the way they treated us.

They also gave us small things to eat every time we ordered beers which is incredible and all of the for the price of less of 2 pints for the triole quantity here in Madrid.

We went there when it was almost closing as they were cleaning and stuff but they were great with us and there was no rush for us to leave at all. It really seemed like we were part...

Pésimo, la camarera “Mariel” muy amable y charlatana con la gente que se ve que son clientes habituales, yo pido un desayuno y habiendo un salón lleno de mesas vacías me dice que necesitaba la mesa en la que estaba yo porque había clientes que se querían sentar en mesa… creo que si pago igual que los demás tengo el mismo derecho a usar una mesa, no lo tengo en cuenta, recojo lo que he usado para desayunar se lo llevo a la barra la pago los 2,70€ y la dejo propina y al salir del local comenta con otra clienta que no entiende que la gente entre a las 8 de la mañana y se quede en el local hasta las 9…. En fin, experiencia que sirve para no volver a entrar a ese local! Recalco dada la respuesta que había un salón lleno de mesas y que en ningún lugar se avisa que si quiero consumir tengo tiempo límite o que queda prohibido hacer nada que sea personal…. Es la primera vez que me ocurre algo así, entendería que me dijeran algo si pido un vaso de agua y ocupo una mesa con eso… pero haciendo un consumo… qué...

Great value for money and excellent service. €12 for 3 courses including wine. Try the stuffed aubergine (berengena) and the hamburger. Our waitress (Mariel) was very helpful...
