A place to visit! Most of the beverages including wine, extremely good beer, cider and cans of sangria, tinto de verano and several apple based fruit beverages are of their own production at a winery and apple farm in nothern Spain, which makes them of excellent, almost homemade quality, right in the heart of Madrid! The menu is simple but interesting, not the typical tapas you find around the corner, something more special but that gives the impression that the cuisine's goal is to acompany the drinks. Rich brunches during the weekend mornings, I recomend them especialy in their marvellous back garden, that's how I got to know the place :)! Hemos venido a este sitio recomendados y nos hemos llevado un poco una decepción. No aceptan reservas por lo que te puedes apuntar a una lista y esperar.

El sitio (patio interior) es muy cuqui, mono y acogedor por lo que es muy agradable. La distancia entre mesas es correcta.

El problema es el precio y calidad de la comida. La bebida bastante cara y viene sin tapa. El precio de una caña es el de un doble.

Luego para comer hemos pedido el queso Arganzua al horno. Estaba muy bueno y bien de precio, a lo mejor un poco escaso las galletas/pan para mojar.

Luego hemos pedido una hamburguesa de 9€ (aprox) que era simplemente una carne que no sabían mucho con una rodaja de tomate malo, un poco de guacamole, una hoja de lechuga y un cacho de queso que sí estaba bueno. Todo acompañado de un pan brioche y unas patatas. La verdad, nada del otro mundo. Una hamburguesa muy normalilla.

Yo he pedido dos tacos: uno de camarón y otro de atún rojo. El de atún era tataki que me ha llegado más frío que Siberia, se lo he comentado y me han traído uno más calentito. Sé que el tataki no se tiene que hacer mucho por lo que puede estar templado pero tampoco tiene que estar frío. Al final, el taco estaba medio bueno. El problema principal de los tacos es que te los traen en un cacho de madera raro sin plato y si se te sale del taco la comida, se va a la mesa. No sólo eso, sinó que la tortilla del taco está cruda. No la han calentado ni pasado por la sartén ni nada. El otro taco era de camarón. Pero literalmente de UNA (1) UNIDAD DE CAMARÓN. Un poco triste por valer los dos tacos 8'9€.

Ah, la mesa de al lado ha pedido unos nachos y es un platito enano con guacamole y pico de gallo que valen 7'9€. También se han pedido unos finguers de pollo donde solo vienen 5 y son 6 personas. No tocan ni a uno por cabeza y vale 7'9€. A más de 1€ por finger de pollo.

Nos vamos un poco decepcionados con la comida porque esperábamos más calidad y cantidad. Si tienes mucha hambre y te estás pensando venir, ve a otro sitio.

Have been twice, the food is nice but a little overpriced. The back garden is also a nice feature but always super busy. The first time we sat inside and it was fine. The problem the second time was unfortunately the service, we were warned that food would take 30+ minutes, but after over an hour of waiting for (half) our food, and being ignored by the waiters, we had to ask that if the food wasn't ready in 5 mins, just to cancel it. He came back and said he'd cancelled it. Half of us were left hungry and then we still had to wait 15 minutes to pay the bill because we were told we had to wait at our table for the bill despite having been ignored...
