DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE DURING COVID restrictions. It gained it's popularity during normal times so now it's mentioned in every trip advisor web. You queue in front of the entrance for more than 30 minutes to arrive to half empty bar (not meaning empty because of covid but really empty place - see the pictures). Then after we got seated these tables got full so it's not about reducing the capacity. There is a person dedicated to seating people and he does a terrible job. When asked for menu I was told there is none. So you choose a drink but you're not given the price even when you ask. I believe there is payment after each drink because the waitress came with a bill that we didn't requested (or were we unwanted there?)

Place is soooo local. The prices are on average(reasonable) and you wont have to deal with tourists and tourist prices. Staff was so cool. The toilets could be a bit cleaner but thats definitely not enough for me to give a 4 start to that place. Its definitely one of the best bars that you can go and enjoy in Madrid without tourist scam.

De los bares más clásicos del barrio y perfecto para todo el mundo. Tiene una buena selección de cervezas tanto en botella como se grifo, y aún sin tener los precios más baratos, son correctos y puedes encontrar ofertas dependiendo de la hora. Tienen una mesa de billar funcional y eso ea siempre un gran añadido! Al bar suelo ir en dos tipos de ocasiones. La primera es cuando busco un poco maa de ambiente íntimo o tranquilidad, suelo ir entre semana a una hora temprana. Con eso te aseguras tener uno de los sofás para ti y son perfectos para una cita. La segunda es cuando busco algo mas ambiente de fiesta y voy con amigos. Jueves, viernes y sábado, cuando empieza ya a estar cerca la medianoche es la elección perfecta, además, si hay mucha gente siempre está la sala de arriba que ea un acierto. Como conclusión, un lugar para todos los gustos y momentos, un bar con una personalidad muy particular.
