The place aesthetics is amazing, it's rally feels like being in an actual izakaya. Beside that, every single thing we ordered was spectacular. They were all tasty. That being said, some most appetisers weren't remarkable. I mean, they were delicious but you can have deliciously fried chicken at many different places. Something we all loves were the edame. We als had a Korean type of bread? I cannot recall its name, but it was like a flat thin pancake. It tasted quite similar to omelette, but it was lovely because of the condiments used. We also had ramen, we ordered two, the place's original and another one I can't remember. The fist one, even when warned that it was spicy, it didn't really was that much. But it más incredibly tasty. We also had a hotpot without vegetwbles, which was delicious and even as bit spicier than the ramen.
On the service department, we were kindly and quickly served even though the place was crowded. That is a very special detail.
All in all, the experiences was great, the food was amazing and the ambient and music...
Read moreStepping into this Japanese place, I couldn't help but appreciate the thought put into the decor. It set a pleasing tone for the culinary journey ahead.
The sushi, undoubtedly, was the star of the show. Freshness and skill shone through, though I must confess, one nigiri was a victim of an unfortunate faux pas - a truffle imitation that did no favors to the dish.

In the end, this Japanese establishment proved to be a mixed bag of delights. While the sushi and Chiasu earned their stripes, there were moments when the kitchen seemed to falter. There's room for improvement, but potential for greatness...

Stepping into Konnichiwa, one feels they have crossed an international border. The space delivers the charm of Japanese street food stalls with the elegance of fine dining. The room is lit by neon and paper lanterns and gives the sense that you have entered the romantic world of a Wong Kar-wai film.
However, aesthetics are only part of the battle in a pleasant dining experience. So how’s the food? The menu is filled with Asian favorites like gyozas, sushi and ramen, and they have always left this local guy satisfied. Beverages are also true to the foreign cuisine and diners can choose from an array of imported beers, sake and teas.
So grab your passport and take a trip to Japan without...
