LA Mucca is a charming gem situated conveniently near the Madrid Palace, offering a delightful mix of Spanish and international cuisine with a friendly, bilingual service. The ambiance is quaint and welcoming, although it can get a bit loud during peak hours, adding to its lively charm.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated by our waitress, who took our drink and meal orders in a timely manner. To our pleasant surprise, we were treated to a complimentary appetizer of bread and olive spread, which set a wonderful tone for the afternoon.
The menu at LA Mucca is diverse, catering to various tastes. The Margherita pizza stood out with its perfect balance of flavors and crispy crust, and the spicy chicken pizza was equally impressive, delivering a delightful kick. The hamburger, while flavorful, was slightly undercooked for our preference, but this was a minor hiccup in an otherwise enjoyable meal. Pairing our food with Mahou beer was an excellent choice, enhancing the flavors of both the pizzas and the hamburger.
The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with a cozy atmosphere that makes for a pleasant dining experience. Despite the occasional noise, LA Mucca's friendly staff and excellent food make it a standout spot for both locals and tourists.
Overall, LA Mucca is a must-visit for those exploring the area around the Madrid Palace. Whether you're in the mood for a classic pizza or a well-paired beer, this restaurant delivers a satisfying experience.

Read moreAfter finding a piece of hair in the dessert I was sharing with my toddler, I complained to the host/maitre'd. I received no apology and he just looked annoyed at me. Without saying anything to me, I noticed he had ordered a replacement - but I really didn't want any more dessert. I didn't want more food - I was just disgusted at feeding myself and my son something with hair in it.
So, I told him I didn't want another dish. And he snarkily told me that we already ate it all anyway (we didn't. There was a fourth of it left. We ate assuming we'd finish it and not expecting hair! I wish I took pictures to prove my point but we immediately stopped eating after finding the hair.)
I signalled to another waitress that I wanted to pay, she brought me the bill and I was about to pay the full amount -again, I wasn't looking for a discount, I didn't complain to her and was about to swipe my card already. And the maitre'd stopped her and without looking at me or acknowledging me gave the discount on the dish.
Yes, we got a discount for the dish. But the way my son and I were treated for something that was not at all our fault - horrible. All I wanted was an apology and instead I was made to feel horrible about...
Read moreThis place was recommended by our hotel and it has been great. We enjoyed a full meal the first night as a family of 4 (2 young kids) and the next night our children wanted to go back even though we had already eaten at a show. Reinaldo is everything you could ask for in service! He was amazing with the kids and made you feel at home, very attentive and cheerful a really beautiful soul who goes above and beyond! Guillermo and Damian were also fantastic and very happy to serve us even with our kids very tired and grumpy! The quality of the staff was impressive. The bread with olive they give is amazing, the wine is great and I love the quality of the food it's very clean and delicious food, there is a great range and options to suit the whole family. Great pizza, the chicken curry was tasty the burger meat is quality and the deserts are made in house with the exception of the Toto ice cream from 2 doors down. (Which is also delicious so a good collaboration decision ;) ) my only complaint is I can't fit more! I'd like to try more of the dishes we could see they all look so good! Love everything about Lamucca Plaza...
