Heladería Palazzo - Italian Ice Cream — Local services in Madrid

The lady server did not push down the ice cream onto the cone well so unfortunately, as soon as we stepped out to the sidewalk and sat down on one of the chairs, the ice cream rolled off. It was the first time this happened to me since most ice cream servers know how to push down the ice cream into the cone so it doesn’t fall easily.

I went in to buy another one and asked her to push down the ice cream well since the first one i bought 30 seconds ago fell off the cone quickly. She didn’t say anything.

Unfortunately again, the ice cream quality wasn’t even worth another purchase. I tried the cafe flavour and it wasn’t creamy, the coffee flavour was so light it tasted more like any generic flavour (not necessarily coffee), the cone was the hard crunchy and too sweet kind.

Maybe it was because we had lickd ice cream last night where the ice cream was creamy, full of flavour, the cone was light and crunchy, the ice cream scoop was bigger, they even served the cone with a round waffle. Service was friendlier there than here at Palazzo. So easy to compare as they’re both say they serve Italian ice cream, same cost at 3.50 euro.

The plus for this place is they had 2 small round tables with 2 seats each, under a tree. The location is great, but that’s all it had going for them. I rarely give low reviews, this one I felt I couldn’t give a...

Conozco las heladerías Palazzo desde hace mas de 40 años, cuando iba con mi madre. Ahora tengo el placer de ir con mis hijos. Quiero destacar la elaboración tan personal de los helados Palazzo, y su textura tan fresca (no soporto los helados que parecen merengue). Sus sabores tradicionales como la trufa, el arroz con leche o la leche merengada son una delicia. La cantidad de helado es muy generosa en comparación con otras heladerías. Mención especial merece su única y espectacular “leche helada” que solo sirven en verano. No es un helado propiamente dicho, sino una mezcla entre helado y granizado, muy refrescante, parecido a la leche merengada pero mas suave. Mi hijo la adora!. Y yo también! Tomar una leche helada durante las noches de verano contemplando el Palacio Real iluminado mientras algún músico toca el chelo es una experiencia inolvidable. very very very bad ice never eaten such water ice in my life ( I had mix chocolate and fruit). it doesn't taste ice nore any fruit .. I know what Italian ice is, this is far to call it Italian ice and too expensive for such icy water....
