Mediterrae — Restaurant in Madrid

Stumbled upon this restaurant when visiting Madrid as it was near the hotel I was staying in. The food was excellent, so much so that I came back a second time for dinner. The ambience is very pleasant and the restaurant is well renovated and the staff were all very friendly and polite. I do not speak Spanish at all but the staff did their best to translate to English for me. For the quality of the food, I would say that the pricing is reasonable. The ribs and burgers were completely cold and not good;

The Chinese waitress is racist, after she confirmed we are Chinese, she hid the local menu and never came to our table again. Even there was another waitress who intended to give us the local menu, the Chinese waitress stopped her. The English menu and local menu are totally different prices.

I guess that’s the reason why our food are cold(waiting for a long time to our table). It’s ridiculous that a Chinese waitress is being racism to her own people.

We were lucky enough to have tried out this new place because a friend of ours hosted here his birthday party. Pricing is far from expensive given the quality and freshness of the food. The place is very clean and the staff couldn’t be more friendly and efficient. We will definitely go back.
