Wasn’t impressed with this place, even though it had a lot of reviews. I was initially excited, but ultimately found it to be overrated/overhyped. The main qualm was that it was overpriced for the average/mediocre food we received. However, the one thing that saved this experience was our amazing friendly waitress (I wish I could remember her name - she spoke perfect English with an American accent). However, I don’t think the other waitstaff were as friendly as they were giggling at my friend as he took a picture of his food. Not uncalled for, I know, but still unprofessional and a bit rude coming from the waitstaff. The ambiance was nice (the sandy floors and the unique decor) but the experience wasn’t worth the price of the mediocre food. The lackluster experience came down to the food - we ordered the chicken salad (no flavor, could have made the same at home) which came with sparse ingredients. The tacos which for the price were small in proportion and not as tasty as other taco places in Madrid. The green juice was nice, but over priced for how small of a bottle it came in. A completely underwhelming visit after spending €11-12 each. I suggest you take your money and time elsewhere unless you’re really looking for some unique...

The restaurant is gorgeous with bright sea green walls, fully stocked bar, and lush greenery all around. The tables on the top floor have plenty of space to enjoy the ambiance and the food but we opted for the basement which is a full beach with sand and comfy floor couches and colored lighting. The caffe lattes were delicious with the perfect amount of sweet in the cold foam and delicious coffee that actually was strong enough to feel awakened after a long night of drinking the day before. The watermelon gazpacho was refreshing and fruity but still had savory notes. The thai noodle salad was also refreshing with the cold salad including crunchy peanuts and cabbage and nutty dressing and plenty of rice noodles. We both got the huevos racheros which included a velvety black bean base, perfectly poached eggs, creamy and fresh avocado, and delicious, smoky, spicy chorizo with chips. We inhaled the huevos racheros, it was that good. The staff was delightful and accommodating, and gave great recommendations. I...

I lived this place ! I went there twice in 2 days ! My breakfast is always with something sweet, so I had the Cookie Monster on my first visit, after following the advice of my fantastically friendly and smiley waitress. I also ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice. Both were so good, the Cookie was baked with soft gooey centre of melting chocolate and a nice ice cram ball on top of it! Moreish, soft, squidgy, incredibly good ! The orange juice was also great ! Predictably, I went back the day after, and had the carrot cake plus the large orange juice again! The same fantastic waitress treated me like I was a family member, and this cake was also incredibly good. The space itself is beautiful, decorated either way great taste and it is full of light, located in a perfect spot of Malasana. I have not tried the savoury foods on the menu, but I will definitely come back here the next time I visit Madrid !...
