I think the only nice things about this studio is location and target ad jn Instagram. It looked cute and I offered friends to join us for clay night as a fun activity to spend Friday night together. Ad mentioned picoteo and it was an additional bonus point as everyone was there after work and starving. We were 5 people and there was another 5 people group with us. So to do the basic math it’s 450 euro. Just to mention, Mercadona is 5 min walk and full of cheap snacks and drinks. For this 450 euro per 10 people we were offered one glass of wine in dirty glasses, there was no red wine, there were no no alcohol options of drinks (our friend who doesn’t drink was only offered tap water), there was one bowl of cheap chips to share and one tiny bowl of olives for each group. I honestly felt frustrated in front of my friends, it’s a shame to even mention it in advertising. When we asked for additional wine and quickly finished snacks, there was no refill offered. On top of that, the teacher who was too introvert to work with people and offer any help during the class only kept reminding us about the time and that we all need to finish asap, i understand she also has Friday night plans but I never saw this attitude at any of clay studios or workshops around Madrid and I visited quite a few. The thing that killed us the most, she also kept reminding that we need to clean the work space after and all go to the sink in a line to clean work materials and so on, now I understand why glasses were so dirty and had lipstick, no previous guest were doing it properly because it’s nonsense. I wish they ask this girl in the restaurant after the meal to clean her plates after herself. And no notification was sent to remind us to pick up our products, we had to ask ourselves to find out it’s ready. In general, the worst workshop experience in my life. And I’m surprised to see so many positive reviews. For same price in Madrid you can find many nice options with unlimited drinks, snacks and much better attitude.
Upd: Jimena kindly invited us to come one more time and indeed the second time our experince was much better and there was a lot of guidelines during...

My torno (pottery wheel) teacher, Eli, is incredible. Her patience knows no bounds, and she's brimming with creative ideas. Eli has a special knack for understanding exactly what you're envisioning and guides you to make it a reality. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, her teaching style makes learning both fun and rewarding.
Barro is more than just a studio; it's a community where creativity and support flourish. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore the art...
