Just had a horrible experience in this place. When I came here with my mother, we didn't know the kitchen had already closed, so we sat normally and started looking at the menu. A nice server came to our table and informed us that the kitchen had already closed for the afternoon, but we could order drinks. Since we were looking for somewhere to eat, we politely declined and promptly startet googling other restaurants nearby that were open - we didn't immediately leave the place because 1. It was raining outside, and 2. It's our first day in Madrid, we didn't immediately have another restaurant in mind, as we don't know the city. A couple of minutes later, another server came to the table and told us that we needed to leave and, if we didn't, he'd call the police (?). We tried explaining that we were only there while we looked for another restaurant to go to and were basically about to leave, but he didn't let us finish and repeated that he'd call the police if we didn't leave right that instant. We've traveled a lot and this has never happened to us before, anywhere. We weren't being disruptive or anything, we were just quietly looking for an open restaurant to go to and eat. This all happened in the span or a few minutes (maybe five, or even less), and the place was full of people.
Suffice to say, we're never going there again. I'm still confused about this whole situation....
Read moreBad experience, don't go there. Food is mediocre, very average for the price, chashu is of medium quality, and cold aliments like vegetables are just throw into the soup direct from the fridge. Desserts are not homemade, gyozas not sure but I doubt there are. It was also heavy to digest and we didn't feel comfortable in the afternoon. The waiter was nice, but the manager who welcomed us was unfriendly in general, and he also directly asked about our means of payment because he didn't want to make separated bills with credit cards (we were 6 and the restaurant was totally empty). Yes, in Madrid center, capital of Spain, 3 million people. At the end someone in our group forgot to pay so I came back in to pay for him, and at this occasion I saw that I had been charged 2 extra euros on my own bill. Can't prove it was intentional. So he discounted me the missing ramen, without any apology. Music is also tasteless...
Read moreNice deco and clean restaurant. They offer ramen and simple starters. The price is a bit high for such a simple elaborated ramen, the taste is just normal . The broth is quite oily for me. Perhaps for tourists the food is okay, acceptable. The true secret of success is largely in the broth. To get an intense base with an umami flavor, you can use pork or even chicken bones, as well as miso paste. Shoyu, Shio, Miso, and Karre are the four most popular broth ramen options. Although the process is not complicated, it's true that...
