This restaurant strikes a great balance between authenticity and comfort. The empanadas are a highlight—baked to a perfect golden crust with just the right touch of char, giving them that homemade, rustic quality. Served on a wooden board with a flavourful dipping sauce, they feel both simple and elevated, a dish that reflects care in preparation.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere is warm and relaxed, making it a place where you can linger and enjoy your meal at an easy pace. One of the standouts of the menu is their Aperol, which is refreshing, well-balanced, and served exactly as it should be—ideal for pairing with their savoury dishes or simply enjoying on its own while chatting with friends.
Overall, it’s the kind of spot that feels inviting whether you’re there for a quick bite or to settle in for drinks and conversation. Between the empanadas and a good Aperol, it’s easy to see why it leaves such a...

Service was disorganized, and inconsistent, but waiters were polite and knew we had been orphaned. From small plates to the main plates was over an hour. We didn’t even get wine card at the start until we begged for about 20 minutes. We are good with slow paced 2 hour dinners. But that is not what happened. We just got lost in the kitchen..
We ordered a bottle of Mauro, which was good.
Ambience was lively, lots of personalities roaming the place so entertaining. Decor is nice. Bar up front is busy. Glamours looking folks. Music was loud but that’s the theme so no complaint just FYI.
The three stars overall has to do with the...
Read morePhenomenal experience at Ceferino last Sunday. We had the empanadas, morcilla (blood sausage) and the mollejas (sweetbreads) to start. The empanadas were quite possibly the best example of Argentinian empanadas I have ever head, the morcilla deliciously sweet and the sweatbreads perfectly cooked and seasoned. We then shared a rib eye steak (Argentinian meat) as a main course, which was perfectly cooked, the quality of the meat was excellent. I wanted a bottle of Australian Pinot which was unavailable, the sommelier helpfully steered me towards an Argentinian Pinot which I normally would never had ordered and ended up with a fantastic red to accompany our meal. The desert of meringues and red fruits was delicious and a great end to the meal. I'll...
